"I can’t wait to go back! We had a wedding in Cabo and because of the distance I decided to make a vacation of it and wanted to go beyond the typical resort area of Cabo/San Jose. Los Barriles is a wonderful little town that is still small, but has all amenities you’ll need. Swimming in the bay is absolutely lovely, but besides goggles you must have water shoes. I’m not a wuss, but there are soooo many rocks to walk across before getting in the water that it’s almost impossible without shoes....

"House was nice, spacious &AC worked well. We had an issue w/the water upon arrival, but it was quickly taken care of. The house manager isn’t the easiest to get in touch with, as he doesn’t always reply in a timely manner, but the owner stepped in&got our water situation solved. The house isn’t cleaned daily (we were told that up front) but my husband suggested they should offer a price for daily cleaning service which would’ve been nice. "If you love relaxing in Baja with family and friends, this is the perfect place to stay. This home has all the amenities for comfort and convenience. Quiet neighborhood but still close to everything including a semi private beach and Tres Palapas. Pretty views, private pool, and several outdoor gathering areas. The owner was super responsive and the property mgrs were very helpful. We had a great stay here!"

"Beautiful casita perfect for two! Very clean, well stocked, with a comfortable bed. Watched dolphins and jumping rays from the patio. The neighborhood is a way from town and restaurants, so transportation is needed. We rented Mark’s ATV and took outings to the waterfalls and El Cardonal."

"Our three generation family had a wonderful time at Casa Alvarado! The two casitas and four large bedrooms in the main house provided us with plenty of space so that we were together but not in each others’ space the whole week. "Great for families!! Loved the ground floor condo and how the beach is right by the pool. My kids were back and forth all day. Beautiful sunrises and it’s fun to watch the boats go out in the morning and come back in the afternoon. The restaurant is absolutely delicious and we got drinks all day from the swim up bar.
