We did feel very safe at this location. You need a gate code to get into the parking, elevator wait area as well as use of the elevator. There is a separate door code for you to get into the actual unit. There was always guest parking available, the unit does not come with an assigned stall. We were very close to many places we wanted to drive to and was even able to walk to an art exhibit and Whole Foods.
With that being said, the unit was not ready for us to check in despite us checking in a day later then originally planned. When we got there, we found dishes left in the dishwasher- not sure if they were clean or dirty, I didn’t even want to examine. Dishes were also drying on a dish towel left on the kitchen counter. Towels were still in the dryer. The waste basket in the kitchen and bathroom was not lined, we had to search for and line it ourselves. Cabinet was left with half open chips and snacks. There was no toilet paper (not even a partial roll) in one of the bathrooms with no refills in any of the drawers and cabinets in that room. We eventually found two rolls in the third bathroom we checked. There were four of us staying there and we were provided with only four towels- as a female with long hair, I use one for my wet hair and one for my body. Simple math, we were not provided enough towels. The towels were not placed in the bathroom or linen closet they were left on the kitchen counter. The bed is hard and pillows very uncomfortable. No coffee table or end tables to place drinks while sitting on the living room couch.
The worst part was the WiFi did not work. I contacted our host, she mentioned there was a hot spot as back up which could not be found. We checked all the drawers and cabinets with no luck. The tv is smart so with no WiFi we were unable to watch anything. Luckily we had hot spot on our phone which we used to connect. I asked our host if she could send someone the next day to assist with the situation, she agreed but did not follow through. The day came and went with no one showing up or no communication at all from our host. We couldn’t find the modem to even try and restart/reboot- it was probably behind one of the locked doors. We eventually did find the back up hot spot as we were packing up the night before we left. It was in a shopping bag left on the side which was not looked through as we just assumed it was one of the many shopping bags we had carried in.
