Come stay in this enchanted Spanish 3 bedroom home in the perfect location for sightseeing and business!
The pictures simply don't do this home justice. Enjoy staying in this modern Spanish home filled with quality furniture, decorations and amenities. Get nostalgic playing on our Nintendo entertainment system with your friends and family; play some foosball or other games or simply hang out in our private patio and enjoy a family BBQ outside in the warm California weather. Absolute dream home BUT with an antique stove
The house itself is as described and visible in the many photos: very nicely designed (everything matches the colour scheme). The house has plenty of space, the beds are comfortable, the terrace is nice to sit on, the kitchen has all the utensils and enough dishes and cutlery for a family. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi work well. There is a children's play table with billiards etc. which we enjoyed using. The neighbourhood is great, everything is easily accessible by car, shops are close by. BUT we didn't have a nice arrival, because it smelled of gas, we heard a hissing noise from the stove and the griddle was warm (without a visible flame). The stove is an antique gas cooker from 1940 which, unlike modern gas stoves permanently emits gas, it is in continuous operation. Its handling was not explained anywhere, it was not visible in the pictures. When we contacted the managers on the first evening about the smell of gas with the words "it's an emergency", we were answered by several people, but were told "it's an old stove and normal". It was only when a friend of the manager came by after 2 hrs, explained the special features and brought an additional carbon monoxide detector with him that we were somewhat reassured. The stove might be a no-go for some people who don't have a gas cooker at home (we have one). The accommodation is otherwise really beautiful. The only reason we cannot give 5 stars is because of the stove.

Charming and peaceful
We were very pleased with our stay in this cute home. It was a nice neighborhood and centrally located in LA so you weren't dealing with the noise of traffic but could easily access many parts of LA. We were easily able to drive downtown for a Lakers game.

The home was perfect for our visit to Los Angeles!
We visited for my daughters graduation from college. The home was beautiful and clean. The neighborhood was very nice and the location was perfect. We loved staying at this propety and will do so again for future LA visits.

Basically good
I little on the confusing side trying to get in to find the key. Need clarity in the check in instructions. Hose was over all very nice and quaint. Mostly very clean. Master bath ceiling paint peeling off pretty bad. Killed a couple spiders fairly good size. Back patio that looked so inviting in the pics was pretty dirty needed some attention. Those were the only bads, which if addressed could be a very nice stay.

Definitely disappointing
"Encanto" is located on a quiet street in a location that is close to many attractions and activities for enjoying the L.A. scene. The front of the house is beautifully landscaped, and the interior is quaint in terms of the layout. The backyard is cozy, with a long table and a grill for barbecue. The beds were adequate, and the showers and bathrooms in general were good. Those were the positives during our stay. However, there were several other things that we found very disappointing. We found very little toilet paper in the bathrooms, so we had to go out and buy some at the market. There was very little soap in the bathrooms, with a broken dispenser in one of them. The ceiling in the bathroom of the master bedroom was peeling substantially. The toilet seat in that same bathroom didn't fit properly on the toilet and moved around a lot. The chairs in the dining room were very flimsy and unstable. The living room area had a strong musty odor that reflected the old age of the house. One of the pans that we wanted to use for cooking was very dirty, and we had to clean it thoroughly. The grill was dirty when we arrived and the floor area in the backyard was also dirty. In summary, this place is adequate as a home base to explore L.A., but in our opinion it is very overpriced given the many drawbacks we found there.

The celebration was for my youngest daughters masters graduation . She had all of her grandparents come, with many memories she will never forget . Thank you for your hospitality We all truly enjoyed your home .
