THE SWIMMING POOL COMPLEX IS DUE TO OPEN JULY 2025. WE ARE VERY EXCITED AS THE POOL HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR OVER A YEAR AND HAS UNDERGONE EXTENSIVE REFURBISHMENT. Located along the iconic Great Ocean Road within the Cumberland Resort in Lorne, A107 is a non smoking, self contained, pet friendly and wheelchair friendly two bedroom apartment with discrete mobility friendly aids throughout. It is ideal for families with small children as well as those who require some extra assistance. With an amazing large balcony which looks over Louttit Bay, you can relax and enjoy brekkie, coffee or a drink at the end of the day while watching the world go by.

Guests are welcome to use all of the resorts facilities, indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, tennis and squash courts, games room, gardens and BBQ area. All of Lorne’s attractions are only a short walk, Main Beach, shops, restaurants, bars and cafes.

The apartment is close to a golf course and on the waterfront. Lorne Surf Life Saving Club and Live Wire Park are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Great Otway National Park and Lily Pond Bushland Reserve. Traveling with kids? Consider Lorne Sea Baths and Eagle Rock Marine Sanctuary. Discover the area's water adventures with surfing/body boarding and fishing nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with cycling and hiking/biking trails.

All linen and towels are provided, along with basic kitchen, bathroom and laundry supplies to get your holiday off to the best start!

The compact well equipped kitchen comes with a microwave, a full sized fridge, stove top, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. The adjoining living room has a lounge suit, dining table and chairs, TV and apple box, and to add a bit of luxury, its own Nespresso Machine.

The main bedroom has a queen bed, wall mounted TV, panel heater, and ceiling fan. The second bedroom is off the living area with a double bed, ceiling fan and a chest of drawers.

The bathroom has a large walk in shower and is fitted with discreet hand/grab rails to give extra assistance to those who require it. There is a laundry area with washing machine, dryer and laundry trough in the bathroom.

The extended balcony, 18 sq meters, with a Weber Barbecue, is the perfect excuse to enjoy a beer and a burger overlooking the ocean and the beautiful grounds of the complex without ever leaving the apartment. Ideal for families young and old.

Further facts and information:

A107 is a non smoking, disability and mobility friendly apartment and we allow pets, including companion, assistance and therapy. We ask our guests and their pets to be aware of other owners, guests and staff and we have a few commonsense rules.
*All pets must be requested and are not automatically confirmed
*There is a refundable pet bond, $200, and an additional, non refundable, cleaning fee, $75
*Pets must never be left alone in the apartment as it is not a familiar place to them and do not want them to become stressed or anxious
*All pets must be under owners control and be on lead at all times while within the resort grounds and on all common property areas - the gardens and the car park.
*Pets are not allowed in indoor areas, including the pool area, games room, squash courts, reception or tennis courts
*The apartment is suitable for one small dog only one per stay.

A porta crib and sassy seat are available if required, fees may apply

Reverse cycle heater/air conditioner in the living area and a panel heater and a ceiling fans in the bedrooms to adjust the apartment to your desired temperate.

Reserved covered car park within the resort for one guest car. There is also disabled parking for any guest who has a valid disability permit.

As we live in the area, we have an abundance of information about Lorne, The Great Ocean Road, Otway bushwalking and surrounding towns. We are happy to suggest or recommend the dining and shopping options that Lorne has to offer. The resort is only a short walk from shops and eateries, the beach and the famous Lorne Pier.

The place to be!!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience staying at this apartment! From the moment I arrived, everything was spotless, stylish, and exactly as pictured. The space was cozy yet spacious, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like extra towels, coffee, and fast Wi-Fi.The location was perfect, close to everything I wanted to explore, yet quiet and peaceful for a good night’s sleep. The host was incredibly responsive, kind, and made sure everything was just right throughout my stay.I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and reliable home away from home!Ahlam

Lovely, spotlessly clean apartment with comfortable beds, seaviews & outdoor seating area with kettle bbq. Many "little extras" provided eg. Umbrella, sunscreen, boardgames, books! Only problem was main TV only worked on Far Nth Q'land channels (with mining & farm equipment adverts!!) & 2nd bedroom TV didn't work at all!

Spacious apartment within the Cumberland Resort which is within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and shops. Lorne experience

Chris and Pearce made our whole experience amazing. The apartment was clean and had all the essentials we needed for our week stay, including a coffee machine with pods. Unfortunately the pool was closed during our stay however Chris and Pearse went out of their way and provided us vouchers to the Lorne Sea Baths so our kids could use the pool there. All in all we were very happy and would definitely recommend to anyone to stay here as we would definitely book here again. Thank u Chris and Pearse for a wonderful stay.

Highly Recommended

Although we had already stayed at the Cumberland in Lorne on several occasions over the past few years, we were thrilled to be able to bring our beloved dog for the first time, due to the hosts’ welcoming pet policy. Chris was friendly, helpful and available to answer questions and offer assistance when needed. We really appreciated how much care had been taken to create a ‘home away from home’. The extra large balcony with a lovely ocean view is definitely a highlight. We look forward to returning!

Mixed experience.

Apartment is pleasant, well equipped (needs a set of larger bowls for soup, cereal etc), with a lovely balcony & in an excellent, central location. The communications from Chris & Pearse were excellent & very friendly at all times. Unfortunately our holiday there was impacted tremendously by a boisterous celebration until 2:30am in an adjacent apartment, followed by 3 days of incessant grinding & drilling due to renovations being completed in the complex’s indoor pool. It was extremely loud & invasive, vibrating throughout the entire apartment for hours on end. My husband has some dementia & he became extremely vexed by the intolerable noise. Although no fault of the property owners, we were very disappointed & frustrated by the constant harassment. It did spoil our stay in Lorne & we feel we did not receive the quality of accommodation we should have, for the fees charged.

A little early week overnighter in Lorne couldn’t have been more perfect at this property. Very convenient location with everything you need and more. Chris was extremely accomodating and communicative with all aspects of the check-in and check-out process along with great detail in how to access the property. Would definitely stay again.
