The house is beautifully furnished and spacious, lots of room for our group of 7. Beds were comfy, everything very clean, everything worked. No quibbles at all. But guys - the best thing is the beach right in front of the house, the clear and clean water, pelicans doing belly flops all day, shells to exclaim about, and the kayaking to the surrounding cliffs to see ospreys and sea stars. So beautiful, this place! Scuba with Dolphin Dive in Loreto was great, some of us snorkeled, burritos on the beach. And right from the house, best thing ever: Juan Carlos picked us up in his little glass bottom boat, we puttered about the islands looking at birds, snorkeled some more, and then his sons made us clam ceviche and a fish stew right on the beach, with fish they had caught as we watched. Absolutely fabulous day, very nice and knowledgeable, well planned and executed, cannot recommend him enough. Lovely people stopped by each day and offered super fresh shrimp and fish, as well as some beautiful rugs dyed with natural dyes. Mulegé is very cute and worth a visit if Loreto feels too far. We felt safe and just grateful for all the beauty in this place, so glad we came!!! Only thing is, real life catches up with you and it’s tough to go back home…
