We really enjoyed this peaceful, quiet cabin.. Accomodations were comfortable, the lake is very close, & we found basic needs in town. If you're looking for a getaway with little distractions, this is your place.

So quiet!
Very quiet location and quiet lake. Love the private dock and little swimming area. Having the boat with trolling motor was great! Also being able to grill and relax on the spacious deck over looking the water.

If anything the listing and the photos didn't do it justice! Really cute and cozy, we used the grill every night and tooled around in the boat a few times. Great little kitchen. We loved it.

Relaxing getaway
Property and lake were quiet and peaceful. The water was very clear and we caught a lot of bass off the dock. Was nice to have the canoe and boat available to use. The only negative experience was the massive wolf spider we found while packing up!

Annual Friends Cabin
Our annual Friends Cabin was a blast this year. The cabin was wonderful and well equipped. We fished, swam right off the dock and went tubing. Wonderful lake, we will be coming back!

Secluded lake house
It makes me think of what your grandparents lake house would be like when you were a kid. It's super clean! It isn't fancy but it's very comfortable and has everything you'll need!! The lake is amazingly clear and we had fun swimming off the dock. The boat was perfect for short fishing trips and will easily hold 4-6 people. We caught lots of fish right off the dock. We had a fire every night. We listened to the Loons howl and my toddler thought it was a wolf, Lol. The host was wonderful and friendly. They have tons of small details/ supplies covered so just grab some clothes and make your reservation, no regrets. It's very wooded so even though there are houses on each side, you feel like you've got the whole lake to yourself. It's exactly what we were hoping it would be. I hope we can come back again soon!!

Peaceful retreat perfect for a family
We had a wonderful stay at this quiet cabin. First off it was very clean and organized. It's also well stocked with essentials like plenty of towels and a kitchen full of dishes. There have been updates to the cabin since its photos were taken. The the new deck and updated kitchen were nice surprises. The view from the main area of the house is gorgeous. We loved the quiet lake. It was perfect to take our two small children out on. They loved fishing off the dock and playing in the sandy area. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the fire pit and and watching the loons on the lake. If you are looking for a quiet get away, I would highly recommend this property.

Clean, versatile home perfect for a family or a peaceful fishing trip with the guys!
The lodging and property was perfect for us. Everything we might have forgotten to pack in, was available in the house even though the lovely town of Longville is a short drive for supplies. Our contact Molly, was very attentive and helpful too! We stayed 5 nights in mid july and were blessed with constantly changing weather that resulted in excellent fishing! Northerns and smallies were somewhat elusive, unlike other lakes we've fished in the area, but the abundance of 2-4lb largemouth, crappie and large gills made up for it. My favorite fishing was casting a weightless plastic worm into the lillypads or drifting across deep ledges with a bright colored jig or live minnow for crappie then anchoring when you get a hit. I highly recommend staying here! You won't regret it.

As promised, awesome, clean lake - great for fishing (even off the dock) & swimming
The kitchen was generously stocked, linens were wonderful and plentiful, the beds were comfy ... we experienced all kinds of weather, really hot, kinda cool, hard rainstorm, drizzly morning ... we were comfortable in all conditions. The fishermen in our group were over the moon ... better catch off the dock than what we got last year in the "good spots" of a "great fishing lake". It was so quiet and relaxing - just beautiful and the view all day was delightful. Thanks so much!
