Great Place
Annette was super sweet and we enjoyed our stay SO much. I was slightly disappointed with the beds, not as big as anticipated and make LOTS of noise when you move. They need to be updated, really that's the only issue with this rental but that would not keep us from renting again. Thank you for the memories. This place had LOTS of room and the place is stocked with just what you need.

So cute!
My husband and I booked this house for Christmas weekend with our parents. I wasn’t able to attend because of our children was sick, but I had messaged them prior to the weekend and asked if they would be decorating for Christmas. They responded saying no (hassle and damage risk I’m sure) Well my husband shows up with the family and they had decorated! So sweet they went out of their way like that. He said the place was perfect and cozy.

Plenty of Space for a Large Group
The property had plenty of room for our large group celebrating our son’s graduation. We loved that every bedroom has its own bathroom. The backyard was spacious as well. We didn’t have time to cook, but the kitchen seemed well-appointed. It is about 12 minutes from Marshall, so the location was fairly decent. Overall a very comfortable stay for a big group.

Beautiful piece of property.
Stay was wonderful. There is a large wasp nest in fireplace. Also smoke alarms were constantly beeping all over house. Backup batteries need to be replaced.

Very nice house
It was a great experience to stay at this house for New Year's eve! Our family had a blast. The house of pretty comfortable overall, especially in the kitchen and the living area. However, the beds could be improved, since they seem old.

Huge Lot. HUGE kitchen!
This space was extremely accommodating for 6 adults and 2 children. The kitchen was very large and we easily made many meals, gingerbread houses, flour Christmas tree ornaments (rolling, cuting, baking, and painting). There were outlets in the floor so we could set the space up/use it as we needed to. There were awesome Bluetooth speakers that were easy to use. The name of the device is listed on the back of the unit. The place was clean and well maintained. Now to my "issues". The beds could use some updating. I slept in the master bedroom and the bed was a little too hard for my tastes. One of our party couldn't figure out how to use the dishwasher. She says it wouldn't come on. She's pretty smart so I feel fairly confident she would have figured it out. The temperature of the house felt a little hot and we couldn't seem to turn the heat down. That being said it wasn't like it was 86 degrees or anything. We wanted it to be 67 and it hovered around 71. After examining the unit it seems like it works with the Wi-Fi and the signal kept dropping. On the last day of our trip we reset the router, but weren't there long enough to see if this fixed the AC unit issue. The other possible issue we had was that we could not find the towels! The email didn't say anything about them. After reading the guest book we found out that all towels are located in the master closet behind the door. I recommend that piece of advice is a little easier to find for future guests. Overall, it is a very nice house about fairly close to town (7 miles or so from I-20). We didn't need to contact the owner/property manager so I can't speak to their communication response time. Anywho, I would book again. Thank you owners for providing a great place for our family's annual Christmas Girl Trip!

Beautiful home in serene setting
Very nice home with lots of space for large group. Love the wooded surroundings of home and huge backyard. Having bathrooms for each bedroom is a great advantage to this home. Would have given five stars except most of the beds need some updating. A couple of them made noise with every move including the master. Also, kitchen could use a large trashcan versus the two small ones in there. With a big group working in the kitchen, they filled up quickly. Location is great for Wonderland of Lights because it's just a short drive away, but you still get to enjoy the quiet secluded setting of the home. Yard was very well kept with good lighting. Great home for a family gathering.

5 bedroom 4/5 bath Big rooms lots of space big kitchen huge front and backyard 2 1/2 car garage, 4 bedrooms have beds but they are full /queen, the master room is the only one with king size bed, very elegant house. It is 10 min to and from town.

Awesome family Thanksgiving memories
We so enjoyed our 3 days in this lovely home. Perfect remote location, plenty of privacy, not far stores for forgotten items, very comfortable for our family. Loved it! Hope to be back next year.
