The Apartment
A lovely, light and airy apartment with two double bedrooms in a beautiful Victorian terraced house in the heart of beautiful Notting Hill. Recently decorated and with access to magical private gardens so you can live out your Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts fantasy without having to climb over the fence! On a quiet street but very near hustle and bustle of Portobello Road. Live the film!

The apartment sleeps four comfortably in two equal sized double bedrooms with queen beds. Perfect for two couples or a family with kids (of any age!).

Neighbourhood overview
For those who have seen the film Notting Hill, they won't need explaining what makes it a picture postcard perfect example of London at its best. Tree lines streets, old Victorian gas lamps, magical communal gardens between each block, charming pubs, trendy restaurants and bars, Portobello with its world famous antique shops plus Westbourne Grove with its designer boutiques. I could go on for ever...

Getting around
And also really convenient for central London. A 10 minutes walk to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, a 15 minutes walk to High Street Kensington and its shopping. A 20 minutes walk to Westfield and its huge shopping centre. And a 25 minute bus ride (or 15 minute subway/tube) to Marble Arch and Oxford street.

I live in a different house so apart from giving keys and answering any questions you will have the house to yourself. But I am always on email or phone should you need anything - such as a recommendation for dinner or even a good play to see in the West End!

The apartment was very comfortable, charming and it's on a quiet and very nice part of London. Transportation is nearby, either bus or the underground. As for Tass, the owner, even from the US, was always a great host, sending us much information on where to go and what to see. So a huge thank you from the 4 of us. To repeat on a future new visit to London

Feels like home
This was our third stay at 14 Arundel Gardens, and we continue to love it. The garden view from the living room and the sunrise view from the bedroom offer a peaceful connection with nature— even on a rainy January day.

Wonderful Stay!
This brightly lighted flat has nearby grocery stores, a book store, a butcher, bakeries, liquor stores, flower stand, and restaurants-- everything one could need. The flat was great. Bedding was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the lounge spacious. We stayed for 5 1/2 weeks and had a grand time. We look forward to returning. Our host Tass was friendly, attentive and responsive.

Lovely flat, Perfect Location
We had a wonderful stay with our 10 year old at the flat in November. It had pretty much everything we needed to be comfortable and the location could not be more perfect. The beds were great and the flat was very cozy - I was worried about it being chilly in November but it was warm. It was super easy to get to the Tube and bus lines and was very close to shops and restaurants. Would recommend.

Perfect spot to see London!
Our family had a wonderful time visiting London while staying in Tass' flat in Notting Hill. The location of his place couldn't be more ideal. The flat is on the 3rd floor (no lift!) and the living room overlooks a lovely garden. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is modern. The kitchen has pretty much everything you'll need to make meal at home, and there is a dishwasher and laundry machine. The neighborhood is absolutely adorable; the little shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs are all around you when you step out the door. It is safe, with lots of families walking children to school in the mornings, yet it is vibrant with plenty to do. It is a perfect location to see all the historical spots in London, and is walkable to Kensington Palace and High Street shopping. Tass' and Betty are communicative and very friendly. We highly recommend!

Wonderful stay!
We really enjoyed this property as it had everything we could want. The location is perfect for anyone wanting to explore Notting Hill and is still close to the Tube. Tass was very friendly and helpful, one of the best hosts I have encountered!

Die Wohnung ist in die Jahre gekommen u. könnte eine Renovierung vertragen. Es war jedoch sauber und für 5 Tage, wenn man permanent unterwegs ist, ausreichend. Ruhig gelegen u. schnell an der UBahn.

Es war ein wundervoller Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist nur wenige Meter von der Portobello Road entfernt und auch London City erreicht man von dort aus gut per Bahn oder Bus. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen.

Great Stay!

This I a great place. The owner Tass is so nice and accommodating. If you have any questions or concerns he will respond pretty swiftly. Unfortunately for me I was not able to stay but my friend was. This is her review: Beautiful area, excellent location, convenient, clean and cute! She loved it. Definitely would stay again.

Nettes Apartment in zentraler Lage
Wie vielfach bereits beschrieben - ein sehr nette Unterkunft in ruhiger, aber gleichzeitig auch sehr zentraler Lager. Die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sind super zu erreichen. Sehr empfehlenswert ist auch eine Tour mit den Bussen, die fast vor der Haustür starten. Gute Einkaufs- und Ausgehmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Und on top: ein super Vermieter, der zeitnah auf alle Anfragen reagiert.

Perfect Location
Great location. Beds were comfortable. There were a few things that I would suggest to make things perfect. There wasn’t a mirror in one of the bedrooms and there were a few repairs that needed to be addressed. These were pointed out and I’m sure will be taken care of. Nothing major enough to deter another stay at the property. Don’t miss spending time in the garden. It is beyond beautiful. The host was amazing with communication.

Very enjoyable stay
We had a great stay. Communication with Tass was very easy and prompt. The apartment was great for our group of three and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the garden, something we felt was very English. The location was ideal, with buses and a couple of tube options being within easy walking distance. We were able to get around London very easily.

Second stay
Last fall I stayed here with my three sisters for 10 days, came back with my husband for 3 weeks and he loved it too. February is quite different than early September, but still so much light through the large windows (great sunrise view from the bedrooms), the garden beginning to bloom, the cozy living room, interesting, warm art work, great shower— and the market, pubs, shops, and delicious food so close. Tass and Betty could not have been more helpful and hospitable. When we come back to visit again (from the US), I will check here first!

Great stay in Notting Hill
We had a great stay here! Tass was very responsive and provided recommendations for things to see and do and great places to eat and drink! We arrived before check-in time and were able to drop off our bags while they were finishing up cleaning, which was really helpful. The apartment is in a great location and was perfect for exploring London for a few days.
