We can provide private chef's services onsite (dinner for six, $300), and the nearby Artemis Lodge (now open) is available for group events, weddings, retreats and corporate escapes.

Great Adventure

Absolutely Amazing!
This property was nothing less then extradentary! As soon as we entered the gates we were blown away by the beauty of the ranch. This was the perfect family get away to relax and unwind. My children loved all the different animals you can see and interact with, especially, Giraffes, Rhino and Zebras. My children preferred Artemis Ranch over Disney World, we will be back!

Our stay at the Artemis Ranch Cottage was nothing short of incredible! Nestled in a serene and picturesque setting, the cottage offered the perfect escape for our family. Most Unique Stay
I was looking for a rental that was unique and our cabin stay at Artemis Ranch was our best stay in Texas! From the moment you drive in, you’re transported to an African safari. The ranch is massive. We took a 2 hour tour and got to see many exotic animals roaming around free. My boys were in awe of the zebras, the rino and the giraffes, who they got to feed. The cabin was equipped with everything you need including a pool, hot tub and fire pit for snores. My personal favorite was the many little personal touches to make your stay feel special like snacks for the kids and breakfast items. We received VIP hospitality from Ty and Bill which elevated our stay. My sons want to go back for summer break since we didn’t have time to fish. If you’re looking for a unique experience full of excitement, stay here. You’ll have a hard time deciding which activity to do because there is so much and they are all so much fun!

Above and beyond!
This is a wonderful place. The house seems new, and it’s beautiful inside. The exotic animals were all so healthy, and easy to see roaming around. Feeding the 4 giraffes was a lot of fun, and the Grevy zebras were especially unusual for us . If I could, I’d give this place and its very friendly owner 10 stars!

A perfect family weekend
We spent 3 lovely days over Labor Day weekend at the Artemis Ranch cabin. The cabin is well equipped and our grandson enjoyed the beautiful pool. Ty is a very gracious host. He gave us a tour of the ranch to see the exotic animals and to feed the amazing giraffes! Truly a remarkable place and experience!

Paradise in Texas
First of all I would like to thank Ty for sharing there beautiful ranch with our family, this is by far the best place to choose for a getaway from the city, Ty went out of his way to show us all the wildlife in the ranch, my daughters loved it specially feeding the giraffes ,, We will for sure return for another weekend getaway...WELL WORTH EVERY STAR....

As we drove onto the property, we were greeted by an array of wildlife, leading us to a secluded and charming cottage. It felt like we had stepped into another world, far from Texas. The cottage itself is a gem-brand new with breathtaking views and an impeccable swimming pool. The pool's shallow ledge was perfect for our young swimmer, making it safe and enjoyable. Each evening, we were treated to spectacular sunsets as we relaxed in the pool and spa. The night sky, filled with countless stars, was a sight to behold. Ty, the property owner, is the epitome of a gracious host. He generously offered us a tour of the ranch, which was an absolute highlight for our animal-loving toddler. Sneak away to the wild
We were looking for a peaceful escape and this fit the bill. Everything was as described. It’s a bit of a hike through the property to get to the cabin but that’s definitely part of the charm. Saw several animals, enjoyed the pool, and found everything to be relaxing and comfortable. Definitely recommend and will stay again.

An Amazing Experience!
My family and I loved the three days we spent at Artemis Ranch. It truly is a one-of-a-kind place, and Ty was truly a one-of-a-kind host. Peaceful, remote and beautiful!
We absolutely loved our stay at the Artemis Ranch! Ty was an excellent host, and the cabin was beautiful. We noticed all of the fixtures and materials used to build this cabin were excellent quality. There was plenty of space for our family of 4. The pool was gorgeous, and the hot tub was excellent after a day of hiking in Colorado Bend State Park. We loved the clear skies and bright stars here as well! Seeing exotic animals roaming around freely was also a treat. What a special place!

Artemis Ranch and Retreat exceeded our expectations! The stunning views, crystal-clear starry nights, and encounters with exotic animals made our stay unforgettable. The cottage was spotless, and arriving was a breeze, feeling like a hidden gem in the wilderness. Booking was a cinch, adding to the seamless experience. We cannot wait to hopefully book our late 2024 wedding at this amazing place. The lodge being built looks absolutely amazing, and it's making us even more excited for what's to come!

Amazing Property
Let me start this by saying, I was heading to Lampassas for a family wedding and was looking for somehting a bit more than what the local hotels had to offer. Safe to say, objective completed. I cannot say enough about Ty, Leslie and their team/property. I hate to write a review this well because I know all of the ATX crew will eventually see this and make it impossible for me visit again. If you're looking for the ability to drive 5min to a Starbucks, do not come here. If you are looking for a 2mi drive on a dirt road from the main road to an amazing cabin in the middle of an 3700ac ranch/game-preserve with the best night sky you have seen with pool and hot tub, this is your place. The owners, Ty & Leslie, and their entire team were nothing less than the most hospitable hosts one could ask for. Upon arrivial, driving back to the cabin, I saw at least 5 different African game species, but that was just the tip of the iceberg. Later on in my stay, Ty & Leslie were kind enough to take our small family group on a tour of the property to see nearly 30 species of game and 2.5mi of the Colorado River. Also, be on the lookout, Ty is nearing completion on an 11 bedroom, 13,000sqft lodge on the property that will be a premier location for special events off the beaten track. Thank you Ty & Leslie for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!!

An amazing getaway not too far out of town!
We absolutely loved our stay here! It was very rural and quiet with all the amenities of home and more! The sunsets were spectacular while relaxing in the hillside pool. You will also see exotic wildlife throughout the property. They kids loved going down to the stocked pond and catching fish off of the dock. I don’t have one bad thing to say about this place and we will definitely be back. Thanks Ty for opening up your ranch and allowing others to enjoy it!

Wow, what a place!!!
We spent a few days visiting friends in Lampasas and chose Artemis Ranch as our home away from home. This is the most amazing place with comfortable lodging and amazing views!! From the sunsets, to the hot tub and pool, from walks around this beautiful ranch to the many cool exotics we encountered, I simply can’t say enough good things about this property!! Except that I can’t wait to come back. Truly a gem in the heart of God‘s country.

Amazing Eco Ranch experience.
Immaculate property. Massive ranch. Too many exotic game to count! Used pit and free mesquite for amazing grilled steaks at the end of the day. Jacuzzi was perfectly clean and relaxing. The pool has a sunbathing end. Nicely lit. Balcony overlooks pool and hill country. The owner Ty came round multiple times to make sure we were enjoying our stay and one day took us on a 2.5 hour atv tour. Yes the ranch is that big.
