Beautiful cabin

Property was very clean. Loved that each bedroom was a suite. Itā€™s in a great location, near many of the trails. Would 100% book again if weā€™re back in this area.

Surprise 70 th birthday with friends

The cabin was perfect in every way. The location was close to the state park and wineries. The cabin had everything you needed plus was very clean. Sitting outside on the porch with the fireplace going made for a perfect night. The movie theater and jacuzzi made for a cozy night. Highly recommend for a big group.

3 day couples meet up

Getting from the parking area to the property is not easy. The house is large and clean. Has basic cooking and minimum appliances. No extras at all so bring everything you need to make anything to eat. Beautiful set up for outdoor space and hanging out. Take the lower level if you need a cooler space as it will get no where near the temperature the other levels do. All messages are answered quickly and taken care of if possible.

Almost perfect

Everything was great. We only had a couple very minor issues. We ran out of propane for the gas grill. I contacted Ryan and he had a new tank delivered very quickly. The light under the microwave was burned out. Iā€™m certain Ryan would have corrected if I had asked. Depending on wind direction, there was a septic smell blowing across the back deck. This was intermittent and very minor. The driveway is steep but not an issue in the warm months. You can park up top if it bothers you. Everything else was fantastic. We had 3 couples and there was no bad bedroom pick. They were all equally desirable. The WiFi was a little weak. We were all overall very happy with our stay.

Perfect cabin in the woods

We had an incredible two night stay in this cabin. Plenty of room inside and out. The cabin was beautiful and SO CLEAN! 10/10 recommend!

Great setup for family fun

Everything we need to relax and have a awesome stay

This beautiful cabin was exactly as pictured and described. The cabin was pristine and well stocked with towels, linen, throw rugs, blanket, toiletries, dishes, utensils and cooking ware (e.g bowls, pots & pans). The floor plan was perfect for my family, we could all be together while eating, watching t.v., playing games, and enjoying nature outside. We loved the hot tub it was so roomy. We also, had a great time sitting on the porch in the rocking and gliding chairs at night. The teenagers spent most of their time in the movie theater and game room. I loved all the on-suite bathrooms, it was like our own spa oasis with the jet tub and elegant decor in the showers and flooring. The bedrooms had more than enough space for multiple people to get a good nightā€™s rest. There was an extremely cozy and spacious loft perfect for quietly reading. We especially enjoyed ending our last night making sā€™mores at the fire pit. Lastly, the host Ryan was phenomenal. He was extremely responsive to my questions and made me feel like his only concern was making my family feel comfortable and enjoy our stay. I highly recommend this cabin.

Driveway is pretty steep, had trouble getting our van up the hill. I would recommend parking at the top of the driveway. Overall a nice place.

Perfect Hocking Hills Location

We loved our stay at Ellis Edge Cabin. We took our older grandkids for a couple days away with some winter hiking. The cabin was great and so close to Old Man's Cave where we hiked to Cedar Falls and back in a couple inches of snow. Upon our return the hot tub at the cabin was a big hit. The older boys battled for bragging rights at the pool table and enjoyed lounging and watching movies in the theater room. They even made use of the fire pit the first night. The host was very responsive to our questions and very congenial to work with. The entire experience was perfect. The one note to others would be to bring your own shampoo and soap for the showers as those are not provided. But there is a Walmart just 15 minutes away if you find you forgot items and a Kroger a few minutes from Walmart so you don't really need to bring a lot of groceries with you. Grandma Faye's is also close by if you want some snacks or ice cream treats. Highly recommend Ellis Edge for your stay.

Perfect Getaway

Perfectly described. Our stay was wonderful. This cabin was spotless and was even decorated with a small Christmas tree and holiday decorations. We loved EVERYTHING about our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone.
