Dakota Trail Cabin is a 2 bedroom cabin within walking distance to Old Man's Cave State Park in Hocking Hills. Enjoy the convenience of not having to not having to find a parking space in a full lot at Old Man's Cave Park. With a private yard with easy parking. After hiking come and enjoy our 5 person hot tub on a covered porch. We offer an outdoor fire pit with a gas and charcoal grill. The cabin has 1 deck and one covered porch with outdoor furniture. A 40" smart tv with satellite tv and wireless internet for your enjoyment. Enjoy a gas log fireplace. A full kitchen with basic cooking utensils and tableware and a full-size bathroom with a tub/shower combo. WE ALSO HAVE A SIMULAR CABIN , (STARR VALLEY ) WHICH IS CLOSE AND(PONDEROSA) ON THE SAME PROPERTY. Pet fee of $50.00 per stay,please don't forget to check āœ… the box. (push on the box that says Travelers ,then pets come up

Great experience! Our family of four (including our dog), stayed here to attend a family reunion. The cabin was clean, cozy, and the area was very peaceful. The hot tub was thoroughly enjoyed! There were some hot days, and there is just one AC unit in the main room, but it was more than adequate to cool the entire cabin! We brought our own wood, but there were many places in the area tp purchase firewood. One of the best things we liked about our stay was the friendliness and responsiveness of the hosts. We didn't have any issues, but Hannah was always quick to respond to any questions we might have had. Also, the cabin is located less than a mile from the Old Man's Cave Visitor Center. And two good restaurants are also closeby. We would highly recommend a stay here. Thanks Hannah!

Loved this little cabin!! It was cozy and tucked away from the traffic, felt very secluded even though it really isnā€™t. The inside was just perfect for what we needed. We found a box fan under one of the beds and set that up to blow the AC to the bedrooms better. Only complaint was the driveway, thereā€™s a little ditch at the bottom (you can tell theyā€™ve tried filling it many times but it keeps washing the stone away) maybe a little bridge or something, bc my car had a really hard time letting me go into the ditch (new cars automatically break if it thinks youā€™re about to hit something) But honestly, I couldā€™ve parked at the bottom and walked up. So 10/10 highly recommend!

Great location and nice hot tub

We stayed two nights for a girls trip, and had a great time in the covered hot tub while it was pouring rain! Old Mans Cave is quite close, and the other popular caves and trails are just a short drive. The kitchen is well equipped and there were plenty of paper towels and toilet paper. Cozy little cabin and nice cold AC!

The place was located perfectly to see everything in the area, but is secluded enough to enjoy quiet time with the family at night. We really enjoyed the hot tub after long hikes every day. We will definitely be back at some point. The cabin has an easy laid back feeling. Excellent stay and just what we were looking for.

Lovely clean little cabin. Nice yard for the dogs. Close to hiking trails. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, checking with us by phone the day before our arrival and offering any needed items. Hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking.
