"What a gem Lake Anna is. We visited from PA and could not have been happier. The home was clean upon arrival and the kitchen had what we needed for the week. It was cozy and definitely shouted lake life. I loved the rooftop deck! We enjoyed the included kayaks. Grocery store was very close. We rented a boat, visited a winery, and enjoyed great food. The weather was sunny and warm, it was what our family needed. Thank you and we will be back. "

"Our 14-member family stayed on the entire property (farmhouse, cabin and cottage) and had a wonderful time. This cottage is small and cozy and has beautiful views of green pastures. 2 fox kits came out to frolic in front of the cottage each morning, their den must be nearby. This cabin is perfect for a lone traveler or a couple."

"The cabin was the perfect way to spend a weekend getaway. The views at sunrise and sunset were to die for. It was just as nice spending time in the cabin as it was hiking in Shenandoah and exploring nearby Orange. The entire weekend was such a nice escape from the city. "Clean bedrooms and bathrooms (just iron spots on sinks). Well stocked kitchen, good wifi, nice location, not many steps to the dock. A suggestion: please clean gutters, some deck is getting rotten where water runs down. Also sweep steps and decks once in a while, they get slippery with wet leaves. We had a wonderful, memorable time!"

The kitchen is stocked with all the tools to make a nice meal, the bedrooms and living room are comfy, and there is plenty of room for dogs to stretch their legs outside. "What a great surprise. Found this by browsing for accommodations while passing through the area. It’s a beautiful, historic Inn with excellent breakfast included. A fine dining restaurant is available in the evening. We stayed in one of the 8 cottages surrounding the main house. Property is beautiful with hiking trails and even a historic cemetery. Staff was friendly and accommodated requests. Highly recommend! We will go out of our way to return in the futur."
