The host was available to answer questions and also allowed us to leave at our leisure which made such a difference when showering/dressing needs extra time. "We had such a special weekend staying at Gwynant cottage, it was absolutely gorgeous inside and a lovely cosy setting for our young family. The personal touches, including a welcome package with drinks and snacks / milk etc was very appreciated after a long car journey with the children and it was excellent to have plenty of towels and even robes provided. The cottage had everything we needed and was very well equipped for cooking too, it feels like a home away from home. We can’t wait to come...

"Wirklich abgeschiedenes Ferienhaus mit abenteuerlicher Zufahrt, wer absolute Ruhe sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Lage zu den verschiedesten Bergtouren ist ideal. Die Warmwasserversorgung durch den Ofen dauert seine Zeit, haben öfter den Heater benutzt, also kein Problem. Richard ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns zu allen Fragen und Problemen sofort mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden, vielen Dank, auch für die schönen 2 Wochen im wunderschönen Wales"

We enjoyed the nearby town, castle, an Afternoon Tea in Port Meirion and a day trip up to Holyhead and Llandudno. "Very quiet, kid friendly with plenty of space to move, has all your needs for a short stay. "

"Plenty of local walks requiring no vehicle once you have arrived. If you're looking for peace and tranquility, this is perfect. Open fire, cosy lounge and central heating as back up. Beautiful views from front windows of mountains. Remember to keep gate closed as local sheep are free to roam. This is our second visit and we're still discovering new walks and places of interest. Nature at it's best!!"
