Good points: Cosy, spacious, warm, great internet, good kitchen, dishwasher, nice log fire, excellent pub across the road. Not so great points: Desperately needs some TLC, back door doesn’t lock so not the best security although it’s not a risk in this area, curtains are poor so we were awake quite early, kitchen utensils need upgrading. On the whole we would recommend but it could be so much better...

"This is an amazing property overlooking the sea. It is very modern, light and airy and has an incredibly calm vibe. "A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

"Very convenient location for easy travel. Property well described but it is tucked in beside a disused club house. Car parking a bit hit and miss but wasn't a problem. Inside was clean but this was a bit tarnished by a very smelly cigarette bin right beside the front door and the smell permeated the whole house. Beds were good, facilities were good."

But i know my search criteria had correct dates and didnt know it would have offered outside criteria. Luckily one property was vacant and i was given that. I was grateful. "My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. "We went out of season for a little break, & this was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble & the owners were so so lovely, friendly & very helpful.
