You can enjoy this 4 Bedroom, 2 Bath main lake home in Wildwood Point Subdivision. Home has been recently updated and has all necessary ammenities. Perfect for families with children, multi families or use as a couples get away. Close to community clubhouse with pool, clubhouse, 2 boat ramps, day slips, swimming area and a beach area. Use the clubhouse amenities or tie up to the boathouse on the property and take advantage of your own private sandy beach next to the dock perfect for hanging out. The dock is half covered and has a small refrigerator and bluetooth stereo along with storage to keep your water accessories. Water depth is 4'-6'ft at dock. The dock is very accessible by walking down the gently sloped path or you can walk down the steps from the porch. Great level lawn to play or enjoy the evening by the fire-pit.

Perfect location for lake life!
We stayed at this property for seven nights and it was great. Awesome location, relaxing porch, amazing dock and boathouse. Would definitely recommend and return to. The house/property was very clean and one of the most well stocked VRBO weā€™ve ever stayed at!

Family Vacay
Perfect place for a family vacation. Plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen stocked with all cooking equipment. Bath towels for all. The dock was nice to keep our boat on site and fishing was amazing from the dock. Convenient to grocery store and restaurants. Nice neighborhood to walk in the mornings too. Owner was easy to access if needed. When we have the chance to return to Lake Gaston this will be my first choice to stay if available. Felt very comfy and cozy. Awesome

Great location at Gaston
I give the property a slight ding because it was not clean when we arrived but the owner was quick to respond to help us straighten things out. My understanding is that this has been fixed going forward. Otherwise, it's a great house. The location is incredible; close to the stores and in a "just right" sized cove. The dock was nice for sunning and watching fireworks over the 4th holiday. The house is well-stocked but bring extra towels so you have enough for showers and the lake without needing to reuse them. The kitchen has plenty of stuff (I cooked many meals during our stay). Definitely would recommend and we're thinking about returning to the property in the future.

Lakeside ladies
This place was beyond our expectations! What an amazingly stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and bedding provided! We are 4 senior ladies and this trip just fell into place within a weeks time. We made good use of the dock and the fire pit as well as the deck with stunning views of the lake!! Pictures donā€™t do it justice!! Looking forward to the next visit!!

Wonderful summer relaxing at this cottage
This cottage isn't fancy but it has 4 bedrooms with lots of sleeping spaces, two tables for eating (or one for eating and one for playing board games!) and a nice outdoor patio area. We love the deep water dock and peacefulness of this part of Lake Gaston.

Another Great Year at Revels Retreat
This was our 5th year staying at Revels Retreat and again it was amazing. We love the sloped yard and beach for the grandparents and grandkids alike. The house is always fully stocked and I even left my beach towels home this year to save some packing since the house provides those. The very only reason we may have to look elsewhere is that we are simply out growing the size as our family grows. I would highly recommend this property to everyone. Beth is amazing to work with and very responsive. Revels Retreat has a part of our hearts forever and feels like home away from home.

We couldn't have loved our stay more. If you have kids, this is the place for you. The property is amazing. The beach area was so great for our younger swimmers. The grassy area had room for us to set up our volleyball net and other yard games. We rented a boat for our stay, so having the dock was great. The kitchen had everything we needed and we ate on the porch every single night. It was great!

Perfect Vacation
The house and lake were perfect for our month of vacation. The kids and grandkids had such fun in the lake, jumping off the dock and floating in the protective cove. The house was fully stocked with everything we could need. Beth was such a pleasure to work with. We will be back next year!

Another great year!
This was our 4th year at Revels Retreat. Our family ranged in age from 2 to grandparents :) I canā€™t say enough that hasnā€™t already been said. Itā€™s a great location and house for all ages. We booked our 5th year before we left. Canā€™t wait to come back again. It feels like our home away from home now.

Great Lake House
The house was great for our fist getaway since 2019. Beth was very communicative when we had questions. The gradual slope into the lake was great for our son who is not an experience swimmer. Before our week was up, our son was trying to get us to sell our home and buy what he will forever call ā€˜the lake houseā€™! Would rent the house again!

Sublime View, Wonderful Neighbors
This best aspect of this rental are its wonderful neighbors, Eric and Kris. They were helpful and kind in every interaction. The view from this house is just great. We enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning and reading books on the dock as the water rippled on the beach. Itā€™s a great retreat for all agesā€” donā€™t forget to rent jetskis from Lake Gaston Ski Rentals. (Update:The pool is now open and there is no longer a fire pit on the deck.) The house is fully stocked, especially with towels and linens. The open kitchen/ great room floor plan is perfect for families. Beth is very responsive to any requests for help. The kids enjoyed making sā€™mores and playing games on the lawn. We could not stop smilingā€”our stay here was a welcome reprieve from a difficult year.

Incredible!
We had an amazing week long vacation at this property! The house was beautiful and the dock provided hours of fun fishing and jumping in the water for my older children (ages 8 and 5). The beach-like access and shallow water was perfect for my 2 year old. The pictures provided of the house donā€™t do it justice! It was very spacious and very well stocked. The deck out back was a favorite spot for morning coffee and happy hour. The owner, Beth, was easy to get in touch with and even checked in during our stay to make sure we were okay. We will definitely be back!!

Labor Day week 2020
Communication with Beth was quick and easy. House was fantastic total of 11 adults for a few days as we have adult children with their SO who arrived and left on different days. Kitchen was well stocked. There was an abundance of towels and linens, which was nice. The dock was amazing. We brought our ski and rented a pontoon and we tied up to the dock. We also brought our big floats. The float mat, stereo and extra chairs at the dock were a bonus. We made samores at the fire pit. Neighbors on either side were friendly. The lake was fantastic, we are an OBX family and we're quite surprised as all the adult kids want to come back to the lake next year. We spent a lot of time on the back porch. Relaxing and enjoying the views, we definitely would stay here again. Thanks again for an amazing week!

Beautiful place!
The house was lovely. We loved the open concept of the main area. We had two families of 4 so 1 family used the rooms upstairs and we used the rooms downstairs - so each family had sort of a separate space if needed which was nice. Outside was amazing!! We could sit on the deck and see the kids the whole time if they were running around the yard playing or even fishing off the pier. We caught tons of catfish! We spent hours in the water each day... the floating mat was a lot of fun for the kids (and adults.) The fire pit is right by the water which was great. Beth was great with communication... responding quickly to my texts if we had a question. Very peaceful vacation - highly recommend!!

August retreat
This was our second year here as in the past it was a great vacation,the kids had a blast tubing, water temps in mid 80s all week.great little sandy beach for the kids to play and swim. Fishing was a little slow, best in early morning or at night. Lots of room on the boat dock for sunning or fishing. Caught 2 catfish off dock one weighing over 20lbs. Overall great vacation, hate to leave. We will be booking here for next year.
