Amazing home w/ great view, boat house w/ top deck, deep water, & Splash Island

Great vacation home with 4 bedrooms, and 4 baths. Includes updated kitchen, open and spacious family living areas with tons of seating. Game table upstairs as well as ping pong and darts downstairs. Upstairs and downstairs both have large covered decks with ceiling fans and patio furniture to relax. There is a gas grill for cooking out. Boat house with top deck and water deep enough that kids can jump into the lake. Boat house has large flat screen TV, refrigerator, and bar. Splash Island provided for kids to spend hours of endless fun.

Our favorite Lake House to-date!
Our lake vacation was fantastic at Kim's house. The house was exceptionally clean and we loved the open concept on the main level. We are two families that have been vacationing at the lake each Summer since 2020 and this was our favorite house. Kids range from ages 9 to 17. The kids loved the downstairs area with fusbol, a large arcade game with old school games and ping pong. The kitchen was pretty well stocked but could use more plastic cups and bowls. There weren't many spices, but I always pack my must-haves so that wasn't an issue. The property is well kept. The boat house and dock area were great. Having a refrigerator down there was key (and the dad's enjoyed watching golf on the TV when taking a break from the water)! One of our must-haves is an upper deck where the kids can jump from and they all loved it. One pain point was the spotty wifi but I'm not deducting any stars for that. We are switching gears next Summer for a different trip but plan to reach out to Kim for 2026. We loved the house!

Too short of a vacation
This is a beautiful home, and a great spot on the lake for the kids to go fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and swimming with deep water. The kids had plenty of board games to keep them busy in the late evenings, and plenty of space for the family to hang out and enjoy each other for our week of vacation. Great home for a family vacation, and most appreciative for the opportunity to rent the home for our family vacation. Great place to make memories!

Fantastic Stay
We stay at different lake houses each year and this was amazing. The kids had a blast jumping off the dock, paddle boarding and kayaking. The fishing was great too. The house layout is perfect and is decorated beautifully. We would definitely stay there again!

Great family vacation!
We had a wonderful stay for the week of the fourth! This is a great spot with a wonderful view. We were able to rent a pontoon boat from Stonehouse Timber lodge located just a short trip away, and keep it at the dock. We didn’t even have to leave the dock to see fireworks for the fourth and had quite the show from the surrounding neighbors! The kids thoroughly enjoyed the splash mat and kayaks as well as the game room. It was very easy to keep them entertained with all of the options. We brought plenty of fishing supplies and caught lots of fish off of the dock that we enjoyed for a meal. The walk from the house to the dock was just a little incline and easy for our older parents to navigate. We also appreciated that it was not many stairs so we were able to use a wagon to carry supplies down to the dock. The layout of them home was perfect for our family with grandparents and two families with young children. Having 4 bathrooms was a huge plus! The convenience of the ice maker was helpful too for filling coolers for the boat. Kim was quick to answer any questions we had, and we are grateful for being able to stay in her beautiful place. This home was perfectly equipped with everything we needed and in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to Littleton. Will definitely be back if the timing works out!

Beautiful home and perfect location
This is a great house. It has a wonderful space where all 10 of us were able to eat and watch movies together in the evenings. The dock was super fun and included a water mat, kayaks, and paddle boards. We loved the location on the lake and would absolutely stay here again. There was an ant issue in the kitchen. We brought this to the home owners attention and they are aware. The only other concern was the lack of plates, cereal bowls, pots and pans, and a few other things we have had in other kitchens that this one was lacking. Not a deal breaker but for a large group it was challenging to cook with the pots and pans they had available. I have provided this feedback to the owners as well.

Perfect Lake Vacation
First time to Lake Gaston and it was worth the 7 hour drive it takes from Pennsylvania. The home was very clean and comfortable for our family for the week. The view was amazing from the deck of the home. We enjoyed boating and swimming all week. The boathouse was a great size, where the adults could hang out at the high top table while the kids jumped from the roof and lower deck. Downstairs was a great hang out area for the kids who loved playing ping pong and foosball. Will definitely be staying here again.

Great week at the lake
Beautiful, impeccably clean and well kept home at Lake Gaston on Poe Creek. The “creek” is a super wide and long branch off of the main lake, making it ideal for swimming, SUP, kayaking, jet skiing and tubing. Dock can accommodate boat and jet skis. A great place to end the summer.

What A View!!
My family and I have been vacationing at Lake Gaston for many years now and this home may have had the best view from all that we have stayed in. Also, having a fairly flat yard with a stone paver pathway was nice. The boat dock was perfect and had plenty of space for all of us to hang out all day long. The home is beautiful and the main floor room is much larger and more beautiful than the photos reveal. This is one we would love to again visit.

Perfect House!
Great house layout- very spacious and well appointed. Owners are very accommodating and even met us at check in to show us around. They were extremely helpful and provided prompt communication throughout the rental process. Perfect location in Poe Creek near Goat Island. Kids enjoyed jumping off the boathouse top deck (deep water), playing on the splash pad, and kayaking/paddle boarding down the creek. We look forward to renting this house again in the future!

Fantastic stay!
The house is even more beautiful in person! It was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Kim and Chris were so kind and helpful when they met us at check-in. Kim was very responsive to any questions I had during the stay. We had five teens with us, and we all really enjoyed the splash island, game room and especially the high jump off the boat house. Would definitely recommend staying here. Fun for all ages!

Great Vacation!
Our family had an awesome vacation at this home on Lake Gaston. The house was large enough to accommodate our family of seven adults and six grandchildren. The cove was great for enjoying the kayaks & paddle boards. The splash island was wonderful fun for the kids too! The owners were great to rent from. They met us at the house and showed us around. We will definitely be back!

Great week on the Lake!
We really enjoyed our week in this lovely home on Poe Creek in Lake Gaston. The owners were there when we arrived and showed us the house. There were 9 of us—5 adults and 4 kids. On the main floor, there is a king bedroom with en-suite bath. A bunk room with 2 bunks and its own bathroom and a very small 3rd room with a queen bed and a bathroom across the hall from it. Downstairs has a foosball table, ping pong table and a bar set up with sink, ice maker and fridge. There is also another small bedroom with a queen bed. There’s a full bath, however the bathroom is across the game room from the bedroom (when coming out of the shower, I had to tell the kids to go upstairs while I ran to my bedroom!). Outside toys include kayaks and paddle boards for an extra fee, and a splash pad for the kids. Our kids loved jumping off the top of the boat house and fishing from the dock. The home has a beautiful deck off the second floor with tables to use and a gas grill is available which we used many nights. There is a high top table on the dock under the roof of the boathouse which provided much needed shade and that was where the adults hung out while watching the kids. All in all we loved the house. Although not a huge deal, we thought the kitchen supplies were a little sparse. When you are at the lake-especially Lake Gaston where you don’t go out to eat—you cook every meal and we found some of the supplies to be lacking (a nice set of pots with lids, a glass measuring cup and regular measuring cups for baking, and more than 10 forks!) Also the coffee maker could use an upgrade. For a house that holds a lot of people, that was a tiny coffee maker. But other than these small things, we found the house to be clean, spacious and comfortable—especially that huge leather sectional!!!

wonderful week
The house,dock and location were all great. We caught 6 10 to 15 pound catfish off dock which my grandson loves to do. Would recommend to anyone needing 3 adult bedrooms.
