"Bear Howard Cabin is nestled in Oak Creek Canyon in a quiet, small neighborhood. Oak Creek is a short walk away for fishing. Almost a dozen trout were visible from the access road. Road traffic was congested on the highway due to the narrow, two lane, curvy road. We built in extra time for driving anywhere, but the scenery was spectacular so it was worth it."

"On top of the mountain with friends was able to travel close by for hiking and outdoors. Place is great! "

"We recently hosted a retreat in Munds Park and used Papago Pines to house our male attendees. Nice masculine spaces and private baths made sure these guys were comfortable sharing a home with strangers. Plenty of room for them to gather and have conversations as well as retreat for some solitude after a long day of mental gymnastics. The home and the grounds were clean and safe and cozy. Our host was quick to respond to any questions and the online guide made it easy to make sure house rules...

"The cabin was clean and accommodating but lacked just everyday items you need in the kitchen. Also the grill hadn’t been used in a while so we there was a huge mouse nest in it. Location was good but did have spotty service with the cell phone."

"We stayed here because we dpnt like the hustle and bustle of popukar tourists places, but yet we like to be close enough to things ti see and do. This was the perfect house . It was clean, vozy and we enjoyed the deer in the yard and the beautiful sound of the creek and the changing leaves. Easy to get to everywhere! Definitely a musy stay again. "Friends get together for a long weekend of hiking. We needed a cabin for a base camp near Sedona. This is very convenient for much of the hikes in and around the area. The neighborhood is quiet and secluded. "

"Check in was an issue as i needed to contact the property management when the door code did not work and phone reception was spotty. The biggest problem however was the bed, with the mattress broken on one side causing a significant dip in the mattress causing me back pain. The television in the bed room did not funtion appropriately with the cable box cord broken. Finally there was no internet access which we were told would be spotty when we received the check in email. Kitchen was only...

"The location of the cabin was convenient. It needed ADA accessibility to the cabins. My husband has bad knees, and you had to walk up stairs to get to the room. A ramp should be provided."

"Very nice location n home. Some dishes needed rewash before use. Other than that had a lovely stay."

"House was fairly well appointed. It needed a few more things but we just adapted and were quite comfortable. Loved the front porch deck. Sat outside much of the time. House was within walking distance from family so very convenient. Nice little “Ovi” and neighborhood!"
