"Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Every shower had mold and mildew (and gross amounts of caulking) and mine included a sliver of dried bar soap complete with black speck inside the soap dish. The pillows were the kind you might...

"We showed up early straight from the airport (my mistake reading the check in time), and the property manager was gracious about messaging us when the cleaners were finished and the property was ready for us (still a bit earlier than posted check in). "We had a lovely stay in this house. It was located in a beautiful location overlooking the estuary and a short drive from the local village. It was very clean and tranquil, exactly what was needed after getting away from a big city. The views of the many islands on the River Shannon were breathtaking. Anne was very friendly, easy to contact and accommodating to our needs. We would highly recommend it for somewhere to stay, especially to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in a picturesque setting"

"We came to Doolin for a wedding and could not have asked for a better place to stay. It was clean, stocked perfectly with a great amount of space. We felt like we were in a movie. The host communicated in a timely fashion, leaving nothing unanswered. Doolin (and surrounding towns) are quaint with a great selection of things to do and eat. Thank you for a perfect trip. We WILL be back. "
