"I’d like to say that our experience met our expectations on this property, but it actually exceeded it. The property was remote and extremely peaceful, with direct access to a beach for long walks. There were 5 family members and the house was quite spacious. It was exactly what we were looking for. Dermot was an absolute gentleman of a host, and was quick to reply to any concerns or questions we had. We definitely plan to return to Dolphin Cottage!"

"My siblings and I brought our mother to Ireland for her 89th birthday. We were a group of 8. We rented the boathouse and it was even more beautiful than the pictures let on. The house was very clean and ready on time. Michelle was an amazing host meeting us the first day with home made scones and a chocolate hazelnut cake. "My husband and I enjoy quiet properties with good opportunities for walks. Having stores and a great restaurant within walking distance is even better. This property had all that and more. Views on all sides, quiet and so comfortable. Theresa is a great host... It took us no time to feel right at home. Be sure to visit The Stand for a tasty meal and entertainment. "We stayed at the second property on the site, Lavender Lane Cottage, which was a lovely newly refurbished 200 year old cottage. It had three double bedrooms(one upstairs) an open plan kitchen, dining area and living area which was all minimalistic but modern and had every amenity we needed for our stay (Con even left us tea/coffee/bread and milk) We felt at home straightaway and all said we could live there. The bathroom was again modern in an old worldly setting, with plenty of hot water...
