The master bedroom has a super comfortable double bed where the second bedroom features two comfortable single beds with fresh hotel-quality linens. There’s also ample storage and wardrobe space so you can fully unpack and settle in.

In the third bedroom, meanwhile, you’ll find a cosy single bed, which turns into a comfortable double bed, which is also fitted with superior-standard linens to ensure you enjoy a great night’s sleep.

In the mornings, when you want to freshen up, just head through to the two well-appointed bathrooms, where you can either enjoy a relaxing soak in the tub or an energising shower. Towels and toiletries are provided.

The Neighborhood:
Amadora BD is just a five-minute walk from the apartment. Located in the north of Lisbon, away from the bustling city centre, but still within easy reach via the Metro system, the neighbourhood of Amadora is an authentic, vibrant suburb with plenty to offer. One of the stand-out tourist destinations in the neighbourhood is the incredible Queluz National Palace. Home to the Portuguese royal family throughout the second half of the 18th Century, this stunning building combines Baroque, Rococo and Neoclassical architecture, with lavish gardens inspired by the French style at Versaille. As it is located a little off the usual tourist trail in Lisbon, the Palace is the perfect place to enjoy stunning architecture without the thronging crowds. Another historic marvel that passes through the neighbourhood is the Águas Livres Aqueduct, the 18th-Century gothic structure that carried fresh water for more than 20 kilometres into the city. If you’re staying with the family, then you won;t be left short of places to take the kids while in Amadora. The modern child-focused theme park at Kidzania includes a full replica indoor city for the little ones to enjoy, where they can dress up and take on adult jobs from being firefighters to vets. While there is a greater selection of high-quality restaurants in the centre of Lisbon, you will still find some good options when it comes finding somewhere to eat out, or enjoy a drink in the evening in Amadora. Cozinha Velha specialises in contemporary regional cuisine, with smart decor and a tasty menu of Portuguese dishes. At Restaurante Realmente, meanwhile, you can enjoy delicious lunches and dinners from a menu that offers both excellent seafood (the octopus salad is highly recommended) as well as vegetarian and vegan options.

There is a neighborhood mall, which has a supermarket, gym, bureau de change, laundry, cafes, theater and all sorts of businesses. There's also Brandoa's Market 5 minutes away from home. On weekends there's the Brandoa Market. There are many restaurants in the area, A Cabaninha is recommended, for typical Portuguese food.

Getting Around:
The apartment is accessible by metro (Alfornelos station), several buses and by private car.
