"Overall decent little cabin location mared by storage units in front of the property, never mentioned in the ad. Was a little bit noiseyfrom the business. Overall cleanliness was good, check in and out was quick and easy. A leaf blower would have made his a literal home run but wasn’t horrible. The floors are part of the charm of an old cabin. These are CHARMing no doubt lol."

"My teen daughters and I stayed here 4 nights and used the cabin as a home base for a service project. The cabin was a comfy safe haven for us when we were none weary and sore! The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, climate control was easy, and the washer and dryer were indispensable. John was the most helpful host we have ever worked with, he was easily accessible the entire weekend and called to welcome us upon arrival. We loved the privacy because I had 100 family members in town for a wedding. Only gave location a 4 because of the winding roads to and from town. "This is our go to cabin for our trips to the mountains. Greg is a pleasure to work with, very accommodating. This last trip was an adventure riding out hurricane Helene. We will be back as long as she stands:)"

"The cabin was gorgeous and very clean. The property was perfect. The driveway was vary steep but even in our Mustangs we were able to get up to the top. The property owner was very nice and helpful with any questions. We plan on coming back soon!"

"We enjoyed this property. Cute cottage, pretty plantings, snd awesome back with deck, stone dteps, firepit and of course the river!"

"Right across the road from the restaurants and shops of Banner Elk. Close to other attractions like Grandfather Mountain. Parking was tight and a bit confusing but the place was clean and cozy. "

"We traveled with some friends to Blowing Rock to celebrate my husband’s birthday. John was wonderful to work with! Very responsive and welcoming! We even had to go back to pick up an item we left behind and John was so easy to reach! The house was the perfect set up with plenty of space to spread out. The location was great. Very close to both Boone and Blowing Rock. I wish we could have stayed a few more days! We can’t wait to come back and visit again. "

"This was a nice, clean place to stay. Loved how convenient it was to everything. We only stayed a night. Unfortunately it was very loud starting at 5am. From people being loud to garbage being collected, all before 6am. But thankfully everything else was very good, including it being clean and the breakfast offered was very nice. I do recommend trying them as my experience may have been just a fluke. "
