"Alan was a great host! The cabin was extremely clean, and had so much space! The kids loved the fire pit and yard games and the stream! Kitchen was easy to cook in- at first it was hard with no service but was SO NICE to disconnect! We can wait to come back during warmer weather "

"The house is perfectly situated near Hatley pointe ski slopes with a 7 minute drive. We saw deer daily on our drive to ski! The view from the living area and outside porches are breathtaking in the morning as the sun rises and in the evening as the sun sets over the mountains. We had 7 adults in our group that all traveled to ski, and the home perfectly suited our needs. The pool table and hot tub capped off each evening perfectly. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked to...

"Very nice and quiet and homey"

"We traveled to Johnson City from Savannah Georgia to celebrate Christmas. The home was exactly as described and was decorated for the holidays which was a nice touch. I was easily able to entertain a family of five for the holidays. We would definitely stay again. Cheers!"

"Cozy mountain cabin for our two families that was clean, comfortable and met all our expectations. Our kids enjoyed the game room and hot tub. Close to skiing and tubing activities. The higher elevation let us experience decent snowfall which we were really looking forward to this year! Def need 4WD/AWD to make it up the mountain road leading to the cabin. "

"We came up to serve the families of WNC who were affected by the storm. This property was great in location to access centrally from Asheville to Spruce Pine. It’s a gorgeous place inside and out. We were very surprised by the spacious rooms and porch areas. We had children from 3 to 16 and they enjoyed the bunk beds, backyard area and “secret” loft. We will definitely plan another trip to this home soon! I can only imagine how amazing it will be covered in snow. Only last minute surprise was...

"We spent a couple of nights at this lovely quaint cabin while traveling through Tennessee. It far exceeded our expectations. A wonderful place to sit back, relax, watch the snow fall and be entertained by the peacocks, read and just enjoy the beauty of the property. Very clean, comfortable, warm and we loved hearing the history of the property. We look forward to returning again as we visit Tennessee. "

"We had an amazing time! The house was bigger than I imagined. It was perfect for us! It snowed so we stayed inside more than planned and there was plenty in the house to keep the teenagers happy! Highly recommend this place!"
