"Beautiful place with friendly owners who are great with communicating. Bancroft is a beautiful, quaint little town, the perfect getaway to truly unwind. The bed was big and very comfy, everything was very clean and well thought out. If I were to say anything negative it would be that the duct cleaning services could use a call, but it truly is the perfect place."

"Easy to find as it’s the first home just off the main road. That being said it can get a little noisy when the large trucks drive by. For the most part it didn’t bother us and you get used to it. Great lake for kayaking (not provided) we brought our own. The dock does have a ladder for easy access. We took our dog to the other end of the lake where it is shallow and has a sandy bottom. "My husband and I cannot say enough about the amazing time we had at this property! Janet and Dean were so kind and hospitable and made us comfortable for our entire stay. The cabin and washroom was spotless when we arrived and had all amenities we needed for the week. So many great activities available for families and children. "My wife and I (and 17 year old son) spent three wonderful days at this 'Rustic' cabin. The cabin was clean, quaint and exactly what one would expect from a 'rustic' cabin experience. The hosts Jason & Suzie were magnificent and went out of their way to ensure our trip was memorable. A very nice balance between relaxing on the property and adventures on the beautiful Westlemkoon Lake. We had a great time and look forward to returning."

"We stayed at this cottage with friends and our kids this past weekend and loved it. Very clean and lots of space for everyone. The lake is beautiful and there are lots of outdoor activities available for all ages. Great for swimming and nice location for the fire pit (right on the water)."

"We had an amazing time! There were so many fishing spots close by, hunting was an option but we didn’t end up going, the hiking with my dog was so beautiful and even just walking around the property was so calming and pretty. We went into Madoc (25 minute drive that was also super scenic and pretty) to do local shopping and they had so many great little shops. The one ice cream place attached to the woodland parking lot had a dog friendly patio and they gave my pup a pup cone for free it was so...

"The perfect place for a cottage getaway. Wonderful venue for winter activities, cloae to sledding, snowmobiling, skating. Hottub was a wonderful experience under the stars after a cold day. Clean, well stocked, comfy and good room for our family of 4. Hosts went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. If I could give this 6 stars, absolutely would. Will definitely be booking for the summer!"

"Sure it’s an older motel that is due for some upgrades but the room and bathroom and lobby areas were very clean. Staff were very friendly. The continental breakfast was good which included a waffle iron and batter, bread, English muffins and a toaster. Cold cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit and juice, coffee and tea. A completely comfortable stay. "
