"This was our third time staying at this property. We love the location as it is next to Linn Run State Park and close to Idlewild Park, Seven Springs and Fort Ligonier. The cabin is nicely maintained and always clean with just the right amount of space and amenities. The host are friendly and communicate well. We will not hesitate to stay again."

"We hosted a reunion for our extended family this past weekend. The first floor was open enough that we could all be connected. The football fans took over one room, the basketball fans had the other, and the rest of us gathered to laugh and chat around the table. We even sang songs around the fire one night. The location was close to everything we wanted to visit. Definitely enjoyed our stay. "

"Awesome cabin tucked away from the world. Fun woods to explore all around. Comfortable beds with all the linens; clean bathroom with towels; everything is there that you'd need in the kitchen...pots, pans, silverware, measuring spoons and cup, a can opener, baking dishes, etc. Just know there's no dishwasher or microwave. Driveway is tricky for about the first 30 feet or so especially after it's rained. After that it's a gravel driveway that's a fun ride to the cabin. I'd absolutely stay here...

"This property had a lot of great amenities, but some things could have been better. I booked for a training retreat and the wi-fi was not strong enough to actually hold the training sessions (the whole reason I booked the site) and there were minor issues, but the property owner made sure it was addressed quickly. We had a wonderful time, but the lack of a strong wi-fi would likely keep me from booking again. "

"Alpenhof was a fabulous find in the beautiful area of Seven Springs, PA. It is an exquisite and spacious lodge with more then enough room for a large group. We filled the house with joy, laughter and a delicious Thanksgiving feast. The kitchen is well equipped for such a large gathering. The 9 bedrooms are well appointed. The bathrooms are beautifully done and we had plenty of towels. We enjoyed pool and many other games in the huge hall on the 2nd floor. The grandkids enjoyed...

"This was the best cabin for our group of 7!! Plenty of communal space, SO CLEAN, a super fun loft area for the kids, and a beautiful outdoor view. Lisa was an unbelievably kind host, with lots of information about the sites and restaurants of the surrounding towns. We’re talking about staying again next year!! "

"The cabin was super inviting. It had a true charming country feel inside and out! The hot tub was the cherry on the top! We were able to have our pup with us and there were dog dishes there! There are other cabins in the area . There is more then enough space. "The property is in a beautiful secluded setting near Forbes State Forest. Beware if GPS tries to take you in on Laurel Tunnel Road off of route 31, all dirt road and very confusing; instead take Short School Road off route 31. The cottage was cozy and the gas fireplace kept the place warm. The hot tub was nice. The toilet occassionally needed the plunger to flush out. The house was relatively clean, but could use a deep cleaning (lots of dead bugs on the windowsills, even on day of arrival). The...

"We had a wonderful night! Who knew there would be a foot of snow in November? The house was decorated for Christmas and was perfect for our group of 11 girls! Between the ski resorts, lake, and hiking trails, there looked like a lot to do all year round in that area! "
