"Only one item to be aware of, the charge for electricity will be at least €150 per week. I assume that this was because the filtration on the swimming pool was running perhaps 18 hours a day. We visited in mid-September and only used the air conditioning for a couple of hours a day for less than half of our stay, so that wasn’t the issue. Not a complaint, the property is outstanding value for money, just something to factor in."

Nice cantina in local village and other restaurants 20 min drive away. Key tourist sites in the east of the island are 1-2 hrs away. You will return home very rested. "We had a wonderful stay at this villa and would recommend it to others. The house is in a peaceful, secluded location, overlooking countryside to the coast, and (unlike many listings) the pool really is as big as it looks in the photos, and well maintained. "We stayed in July with a group of 32- friends and their teenage children. The villa is stunning, in a quiet rural location only minutes to the sea and Ragusa itself.
