"Great apartment in a great location. There is a mini mart, bar and Gelato place next door. This is all very convenient and added to the over all enjoyment of our stay. A small beach is just a few steps away, we swam, had lunch and enjoyed this very much. What would make this place much better is more comfortable mattresses and more luxurious pillows. A few hundred dollars and a trip to IKEA for some new premium mattresses and pillows would go a long way to making visitors enjoy this...

"Gorgeous view, exactly as pictured. The property is tucked away into a series of apartments which are themselves beautiful with many winding stone paths to reach the apartment. I would absolutely stay again, amazing value and we had a great stay. Parking would be a challenge outside low season. And one of the besrooms is more of a loft (no privacy) but we felt the overall condition and location of the place made up for it."

"Accomodations very well conserved! All perfect. Kitchen very equiped with all necessary items to prepare your own meals. Several items to your leisure like tennis table, soccer table, books, tourists infromations...also, good place to make a delicious barbecue...nice vision of the lake and nice swimming pool shared with others houses. "Lovely welcome package - helpful guide from the owner and beautiful views. Comfortable sleeping for seven guests and good cooking appliances and cutlery. Lots to do in area and close to boat hire and water sports hire places. Good restaurants nearby in Sorico. The natural spring is quite challenging to get to but a good adventure. No complaints - would recommend! "

"The hotel is the center of the village thus not accessible by car, though you can park about 3min away. Our apartment was on a second floor with no elevator and very quirky decorated. Not the best window shades and the church (with its bell) is quite close. The breakfast was rather simple but then again inexpensive. Dinner in the restaurant was very good and included a reasonable discount. All in all a good small hotel."

"We stayed for 3 nights and wished it was a week. The apartment was as comfortable and the view as beautiful as advertised. We did not have a car But it was easy to get to and from the lovely town of Varenna by cab. Marco was a very gracious and helpful host I highly recommend this property. "

"Everything about the house is fantastic with great views across Lake Como. The hosts, Danielle and Marco were flgreat and greeted us upon arrival. We were very spoilt with a bottle of bubbly and delicious snacks. The house was a little further out of Varenna than we thought, but we love to walk and we think we left fitter than when we arrived. We would definitely recommend staying at El Lavandee."

"Es gibt ein etwas schwer, weil es eine steile Auffahrt gibt, zu erreichendes Grundstück. Nach dem Ausladen, kann der PKW aber auch gut auf der Straße geparkt werden. Das Haus war super sauber und hatte alles nötige. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Matratzen waren etwas weich und die Betten haben sehr auf jede Bewegung reagiert. Wir waren zu fünft und hatten ausreichend Platz. Eine Person musste auf der Couch im Wohnzimmer schlafen, dass war aber kein Problem."

"Experiência incrível! Precisei passar uma noite em Como e escolhi o Palace Hotel e simplesmente gostaria de ter ficado nele por mais dias, pois gostei muito de tudo!!! A equipe é maravilhosa e paciente, nos recebeu muito bem… Fiquei no quarto com vista para o lago (existe uma opção eespecífica para isso, no momento da reserva), e foi espetacular! O quarto é muito espaçoso e organizado, com uma cama maravilhosa. O banheiro tambem perfeito, oferecendo uma ducha restauradora! Amei! Fiquei sem...
