"Annual trip to a dynamic college football scene. Gamecocks rated as one of the top tailgates in the country. Three guys stayed at the Turquoise Door in Lexington and it was perfect for our needs and access to Columbia. Would totally recommend this property to anyone for pretty much any VRBO need! "

"The home was exactly as describedclean, cozy, and well-maintained. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed to feel xomfortable. The location was perfect"

"Very clean property in a great neighborhood. Large house with multiple rooms. We were in town for a family wedding. Bedrooms were on one side and children used the den on the other side of the house to watch television, which allowed the adults to sleep without hearing the children. And, it was dog-friendly and a nice fenced in yard. We enjoyed the back patio and chimenea kept us warm on a chilly November day! Would definitely stay there again!"

"We had a great stay here on our annual family vacation. The amenities were more than we expected. The view was amazing. We rented a boat for several days, so it was nice being able to dock it right on the property. Kris was very helpful with questions. Our pup even had a blast! We would definitely stay here again."

"11 of us traveled from out of town for my mom's funeral. It could not have been more perfect. Gorgeous older home with classic charm. It felt like home. And it gave us all space and time to be together. We enjoyed the pool, screened back porch and we weregrateful for the many bathrooms."

"Had everything necessary for a fishing trip. Bed mattresses are outdated but better than sleeping in a truck. Not enough hot water for 4 men to take hot showers after a day of getting stinky from fish slim, but clean and quite. Sufficient for our needs."

"The facility was perfect! Two comments: A substantial security deposit is held, apparently not refunded till you submit your review? Second, the email with the "key" or door code to the stay was buried in my email from the Wednesday before my Saturday stay, hence the 1/5 for communication? Again, the facility was perfect! Peaceful! Wonderful!"

"We had a group of 6 couples come together for a long weekend and had plenty of space to spread out. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, the lake views are even better in person. "

"We rent a place on Lake Murray every 4th of July. I have to say this is the worse experience we’ve ever had. The kitchen is infested with ants. Ants were all over the counter and got in all our chips and boxes of cereal. There were also ants in the twin size bed downstairs, both showers, and the bathroom vanities. The refrigerator did not work. When we woke up the first morning all our food was warm. We had to get coolers and ice to keep our food cold. The ice maker doesn’t work either. We left...

"It was the perfect place to stay with all the conveniences of home. Spacious rooms with comfortable bedding, large kitchen/dining/great room with wood burning fireplace was so much fun to gather in together. Pool table & ping pong table was a hit as was all the many paces to gather together to rest, relax & make memories. The dock and firepit out back were AMAZING pluses to have at this home. The spectacular sunsets were the highlight every single evening! We will definitely be back and...

"Property is in a nice quite location. For it to have been a summer weekend with nice weather the boat/ lake traffic was lite . The property listing isn’t intentionally misleading but there things you don’t see in the description and pictures. It is a lake house and has an old lake house feel. The furniture is old and worn and needs to be replaced. The kitchen is well appointed but the dishes all had to be washed as the former occupants probably only wiped them down. Tips and tears in...

"The Quack Shack is located at a very peaceful part of Lake Murray. We had our own Kayaks and kayaking was great. Our Sheltie loved the fenced in yard and we had a nice visit with the neighbors. Every kind of need was available if we needed it. Great location, great relaxing stay."
