The property in Lexington was located close to the hospital and grocery stores. This made getting of supplies to enjoy our stay. The house itself, left more to be desired.
Firstly, there is only one AC window unit for the entire house. The layout of the house doesn’t allow airflow into the bedroom, so the bedroom is hotter than the rest of the house. The bedroom also faces west, so it gets full afternoon sun which adds to the heat differential. There is a small table fan in the bedroom, but it does very little to keep the bedroom cool.
Secondly, the flooring in the bathroom and laundry room is sketchy. It feels like the floor is about to cave in. I walk in sandals indoors. My spouse walks barefoot and felt it. I then took my sandals off and felt it myself. While taking a shower, the fiberglass of the shower creaks and moans as you stand in it due to this. It made us feel like we could have fallen through at any time.
Thirdly: the toilet hardly flushes. We had to get the property manager over to try to address it but it never worked. It usually took 3-5 flushes to make anything go to go down. When it did, you could hear the water gurgling from the bathtub. We were scared it was going to come back through the shower drain.
Fourthly: the driveway is washing away. The only place to park is near the street. We encountered several bad storms during our stay. The rain made the driveway look like a river.
Property owner was amazing and available for all questions.
