Convenient Townhome in the heart of horse and bourbon country!

Located in charming Midway, KY. Unique restaurants and shops within walking distance, including Holly Hill, flagship of a world famous chef. Drive just outside of town and you are in the middle of the most famous and beautiful horse farms in the world. Drive to Rupp Arena, Kroger field, Keeneland, wineries, multiple bourbon distilleries, the KY Horse Park, and the state capitol all within 30 minutes or less. Hop on I 64 and be in Louisville or Red River Gorge in about an hour. Two bedrooms (one king, one queen) each with its own full bathroom and generous closet. Washer/dryer upstairs; full kitchen, dining and living area with French doors opening to deck downstairs. Half bath downstairs. Perfect for 2 couples or a family on a Keeneland, UK sports, bourbon tour or concert weekend. Or stay longer and explore all Kentucky has to offer making this very special spot your home base!

Guests must be able to climb a short set of stairs to reach the bedrooms. The staircase is standard, not steep, has handrails and wide enough for any size suitcase. This is not a historic property - it has plenty of charm and all the convenience of a modern home.

Perfect location
This is a perfect location for why we were in Kentucky: the Bourbon Trail. It was comforting to come back to the property after long days of driving around central Kentucky. Around the corner from Frankfort and not far from Louisville, Bardstown and Lexington.

Bourbon trail + Kentucky Horse farms
WOW! Very nice, everything we hoped for and more, we have used Vrbo many many times in the last 5 years and this was the best of all of our stays. Not only was the townhouse perfect and so well equipped, it was a 5 minute walk to the small downtown with shops and 5 medium to high end restaurants, all were very good, we know, we tried them all and would go back to any of them. Midway is in the middle of not only the best Bourbon distillery's, but also unbelievable large horse farms. Do yourself and family or friends a favor and stay here!

Great location for the Bourbon Trail and Horse Farms
Midway is a great little town with a number of dining options for a small town. Perfect location for heading to Lexington, Frankfort, or distilleries/horse farms. Quick, easy access to Interstate 64. The townhouse is exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Plenty of room on the first floor with a nice deck off the living room area. Having basically two master bedrooms upstairs each with their own full bathroom is perfect for couples. Carmen is quick to respond to any questions you may have. Highly recommend this property.

Location Location Location
House was perfect for two couples and exactly as pictured. The host (Carmen) is very responsive to inquiries. The house is extremely clean and Carmen provides full size shampoos, conditioners and body wash which is very nice if you fly into Kentucky. Kitchen has basics and Carmen left a treat from the local bakery. The location is perfect for day trips to Frankfort, Lexington, Louisville and the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Kentucky. Midway is a cute little town with lots of restaurants within walking distance to the townhome. As others have mentioned there is a railroad that runs behind the townhouse. My husband heard it the first night, but I sleep with ear plugs and didn’t hear it at all. Not sure of the train schedule but husband says he only heard two nights during our week stay. This is one of the best home away (VRBO) experiences we have had and we use VRBO during most of our travels.

Perfect autumn setting
This was the cutest comfy little place! It was the perfect location to do in and out of Frankfort and hit up Lexington as well. It was very easy to find nestled in a pretty little town. The people we ran into were very friendly. We did need to message the owner for info when we arrived and got a prompt response. The rest of the stay went without incident and we were able to relax and enjoy the space after a couple of long days on the bourbon trail. The weather was nice enough to enjoy the nice deck, also! I highly recommend this property!

Great weekend!
This is a wonderful property, close to everything. It is just what you see in the listing. Very welcoming and comfortable and Carmen is so easy so work with. We have done the bourbon trail before, but had never visited Midway. What a neat little town! We walked downtown for dinner both nights and had excellent meals at the Brown Barrel and the Mexican restaurant. We had a great time exploring distilleries and horse farms. We will definitely be back!!

Wonderful stay!
My daughters and I came up for a wedding and wanted the space to be able to get ready rather than getting a hotel room(s). This was perfect. It was everything we were looking for. It’s a super nice townhome with all of the small touches included that made us feel welcome. I wasn’t sure about the location, but it proved to be the best part for me. It is convenient to north and south Lexington, Frankfort, and Versailles. We even walked over to downtown Midway for lunch and poked around the quaint stores. We can’t wait to come back and stay again.

Great location for hitting the Bourbon Trail
This house was perfect for our trip to the Bourbon Trail. It’s clean and has everything you need plus lots of extras. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the back deck for relaxing after a busy day. Conveniently located to downtown Midway where you won’t want to miss having dinner at Don Jockey for some great Mexican food. The owner is very attentive and we would definitely return!

Railbird Music Fest
We came in to town to attend Railbird Music Festival in Lexington. We really enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and comfortable. Carmen was great with communication. Would definitely stay again!

Peaceful and Lovely
This place is wonderful! The owner has made sure that every little thing you need is provided. The home is in a quiet area and is decorated beautifully. You are near Georgetown, Lexington, and Versailles which are all “horse country “. We really enjoyed this place and did not want to leave . We will definitely be back.

Lovely Townhouse
We had a wonderful stay in this quaint little town. The townhouse was clean and comfortable with everything you might need. Very relaxing time. Beautiful back deck. Would definitely recommend and book again! The host was so nice and communicative. Lovely stay!

My daughter and I spent the weekend in this charming little spot, and it was just perfect! Pulling in to this cute little townhouse, I could already feel at home. Carmen was super attentive to any questions I had, and made it super easy to check in. Everything we needed was there, including some amazing cookies from a local bakery. The town has some great restaurants and shops, and was super close and convenient. We spent more time at the place than we planned due to the weather not cooperating, but we were so content there. Very cozy spot that we would definitely come back to!!

Perfect weekend away!
This townhouse was perfect for a girls’ weekend in Midway! The whole place was beautifully decorated and every room was perfectly cozy and incorporated charming, thoughtful touches. When we arrived, there were fresh flowers and cookies from a local bakery waiting for us. The kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms were very well stocked and exceptionally clean. Both bedrooms had extremely comfortable beds. We were able to enjoy the beautiful spring weather on the back deck, and we loved being able to walk to the restaurants and shops in historic Midway. We had a fantastic time and want to come back to continue to explore and enjoy all that Central Kentucky has to offer!
