"We loved our stay at this property. We spent hours on the back porch watching birds, fish, and other wildlife. Our grandkiids came by and enjoyed fishing. You could get on the causeway in under 2 minutes if you wanted to get to Metairie or New Orleans, and minutes to everything you could want on the Northshore. We hope to go back and stay again!"

"We wish we had booked more time to stay in this little piece of heaven! Marcus was super accommodating and the place was exquisite with everything we needed. There is a resident black cat on the property (who we called Pantera, supposedly male) who was very affectionate and seemingly a protector of us, we will miss him dearly. "Went to celebrate a family members milestone birthday. Plenty of room for all of us and the pier was terrific. A/C worked great which was a huge plus in sweltering heat. No hot water first day but owner was quick to respond and it was back up and running on day 2. There were tvs in most of the rooms but couldn't find remote controls. Lots of restaurants and groceries nearby. Very close to train tracks so bring earplugs."

"Beautiful little Cottage in a convenient quiet setting. Very close to restaurants and entertainment. Owner was very responsive. Cottage had everything we needed. My wife and I stayed here and made a trip to New Orleans to visit the WWII Museum, which is a must see (2 day trip easily). I would definitely recommend this location, and I would stay again if we are in the area."

"The cabin is located near the back of the property. You can’t see it from road. It’s a gem of cabin. Might feel a little sketchy (per my daughter) driving down driveway, but I assure it is NOT! Cabin was clean and spacious. I definitely see staying a weekend here to enjoy the creek area. The sand was a bit aggravating as we were attending formal events, but nothing a little wet cloth didn’t fix. Great stay! "

I ended up opening the door of a family staying in their cabin bc the host failed to give me proper check in instructions. "We enjoyed our stay. We were greeted by the sweetest dog, Flash. The house was clean and well decorated. It was very quiet at night. The bed was very comfortable. Communication with the owners was easy. The only thing to make mention of is that the bathroom is downstairs from the bedroom so for those that get up at night for “little trips” know you will have to go downstairs. "
