"We stayed several nights at the end of November and were very happy with this cabin. It was extremely clean and comfortable. It was in a convenient location with a nice view. After a day out hiking and sightseeing, it was so nice to come back to the warm cabin and enjoy a cozy evening with the snow.falling outside."

"Very pleased. Although the mattresses on the beds are very hard. Would suggest the following to make guests more comfortable: hooks for clothing and wet towels. There is no place to hang anything in the bedrooms or bathrooms. Waste basket in bathroom. Fitted sheets on bunk beds. Another chair by the couch area. Stools at breakfast bar nice. Take the plastic off light in bunk bed area. Not safe and could melt to glass if it hasn’t already. New Broom. I will upload photos. "

"Our stay at John's cottage was perfect. He provided great directions, which was helpful as we arrived after dark. The beds were comfortable and my niece was loved the goodies that were left for us. "Our family had a perfect week. Everything in the house is excellent quality construction, very impressive to accomplish on a island with limited resources. The property is very large, impressive, peaceful, beautiful, among other flattering adjectives. The views from the house are honestly one of a kind. We had 8 adults and 5 kids for the week and we were very comfortable. Definitely recommend."

"Fantastic stay with a great view over the lake. Small and dated but perfect for what we needed. We were a 11 min drive to Mackinac city and the ferries over to the island. When we were getting there Google maps sends you into the drive way of next door but the host was quick to answer our call and give us directions. Next door has a dog that we were told is not friendly but we had no issues other than a few barks between our dog and theirs. The neighbors yard was completely fenced in. Would...
