The property is great for lounging and walking around, there’s the most incredible night skys, and Rich and Donna are the kindest hosts, quick to answer questions and they went above and beyond, making us feel like family. La Grande is a short drive away for any needs and for restaurants. We truly plan on going back because this is a perfect spot for a weekend getaway. "

"The Palmer House is well situated close to downtown in Baker City. It's host is very thoughtful (even gave us homemade bread upon arrival) about providing a comfortable, cozy environment. The kitchen is well stocked and there is a lot of attention to details such as colorful tile work, clean paint, artwork, and a wonderful backyard to enjoy when the weather is good. We would definitely stay here again!"
