"John & Dianne were utterly lovely and made every effort for us. The listing is very clear and if you're looking for peace and quiet in a serene valley, you couldn't do better. The track should be driven with care but after the first time accompanied by John, it's not too bad. I wouldn't bring a car with low clearance though. "The hotel is located in a beautiful original old monastery with excellent rooms. The staff is very friendly and professional. The surrounding space is very nice and there is large swimming pool, a must during hot summer days. Dinning is on a very high level, food is excellent and the meals are provided all day. We will definitely come back again in the future. I can sincerely recommend this facility to everyone seeking quiet, peaceful holliday in a beautiful authentic setting in Umbria. "

The house name is not a location on a map and if you use an app like Google then you must use the name on the wall outside the property. "We had a very happy stay at this house in the country with our two friends. It is ideally located within an hour’s drive of interesting sites and historic towns. The place and its surroundings allowed us a restful and pleasant respite from our busier daytrips. The house was comfortable, beds were very good and the garden provided a peaceful setting with a choice of sitting and lounging areas. Louise was lovely, an excellent hostess who responded quickly to our questions and needs. "

This was unexpected as we thought there would be a central indoor staircase. We made it work but we did feel separate from each other. Eduardo brought us lovely treats from a local bakery a couple of times which was very kind. You definitely need a vehicle to stay here. While it says there are a few things in walking distance we felt the car was necessary....

"The property was exactly as listed - beautiful scenery and far away from neighbours so that you feel comfortable in your own bubble. Due to heavy storms we had a couple of issues with cloudy water and power going out, but the only thing outside of the hosts abilities was changing the weather! Whenever the power went Chiara and Davide came to our aid instantly and were nothing short of understanding and amazing every time. Cannot recommend this villa and host enough. 15/10."

"Nice house in Tuscany Style with amazing location on a mountain. Really great pool and generous space for 4-6 persons. Great area with many nice locations like Assissi, Pienza, Siena, Cortona etc. We would not book this house again because of too many horsefly insects at the Pool and mosquitos in the house. Also missing aircondition leads to too high temperature especially at nights. Really nice house with small deficits."
