"Really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars because almost everything was brilliant. Staff where very nice and helpful. Food was brilliant. The premise was nice, the rooms looked brilliant. But unfortunately for me and my wife the bed was very hard. And woke up sore every morning. That might just be us, Though so I still highly recommended giving it a go. If I knew they where to get softer mattresses I would most definitely stay there again. "

"We stayed in a 2 bedroom loft cottage. It was lovely and spacious, comfy beds (although I would suggest bringing own pillow). The garden's were lovely and nice pools. The tv in our cottage was in a strange position, ie not in front of the lounges which was a bit frustrating to watch. The restaurant was also being renovated during our stay so no-where to eat but there was a range of courtesy buses available to pubs etc. But all up nice place to stay. "

Could do with more lounge style seating upstairs. We had no bedside tables in our room. "Amazing apartment, we are definitely hoping to return! As soon as we checked in and realised how wonderful the view was, how spacious and convenient the apartment was, and how close the private beach access was, we messaged to try and stay another night! Alas it was booked out, I'm not surprised. We didn't expect such spectacular whale watching! We stayed in the first week of October and there was a constant stream of humpback whales migrating south. The younger ones especially were jumping out...

"The apartment was perfectly located for the event we came up for. Couldn't have had a better view for chromefest. Check in was easy. Apartment was clean, tidy but had bare minimum supplies. Comfortable beds, pillows and plenty of space for everyone. Wifi didn't work. Fridge is very small (slightly larger than a bar fridge) considering the apartment sleeps 14. Take an esky. Fantastic little Coffee shop and pizza shop immediately downstairs to save yourself cooking. "

"Our stay as two families with teens at “Chilling Lakeside” was truly relaxing (mid Dec 2024). The booking process was easy, and communication with the gracious hosts was excellent. The house was well-equipped including entertainment for the adults / teens, good books and amazing views with stunning sunsets enjoyed by the jetty and around the firepit. Pelicans coasting along the water and friendly little ducklings were a joy. The nearby Coastal and Co takeaways had the best burgers and our trip...
