"We enjoyed our stay here, the house was very comfortable and well-appointed. We loved the fireplace, the lights on the deck, and were happy it was stocked with games -- we had fun asking each other Trivia questions. We also got to see a deer wander onto the lower part of the property. Would definitely recommend & would stay there again."

"Traveling from Illinois to New Hampshire for our road trip. This Vrbo in Hagerstown Maryland was in a beautiful historic district and the inside was absolutely beautiful. We did climb the 4 flights of stairs with 2 large suit cases which was not fun but it was a great way to stay in shape at 60 😂. "We stayed here while in town for a wedding. We had 13 adults and one child. This is such a neat old house with so many cool features. We had a fun time exploring the house and admiring the unique features like the Jefferson doors to the porches, the old coal dump, and all the super cool antiques in the home. "Enjoyed our stay and the view was excellent, trees were in full color for fall. Communication with property managers was prompt and courteous. House was well maintained and clean. Appreciated the coffee. Suggestion would be to have leaves swept from deck before arrival or provide a broom to sweep leaves from deck and porch. Definitely better then a hotel room but i didnt realize it was someones basement but it didnt bother me a bit you dont realize anyones above you with your own entrance in! "We thought the place was very comfortable, it had all that we needed, and it was very clean! We used it as a central location for a couples weekend of antiquing. It was easy to find even though it was up in the woods. We used Google maps and it brought us right there. The water did have a slight smell, but that's typical with well water, and it was nice that they had a filter on the sink to use. Maybe a bigger coffee pot would be nice, we were all coffee drinkers and the little pot didn't go too...

"Our family met here for a weekend getaway. The house is amazing and is stocked with everything you need! The pool room is great, the patio out back has firepits for you to sit around at night, and the kids enjoyed riding their bikes on the property and at the park. The views are beautiful and the beds were comfortable.We brought most of our food with us, but there are stores about 15 minutes away. Its a perfect spot to unplug and relax. "
