"We had a wonderful stay celebrating our family Christmas. There were beds for everyone and enough room so that we could be all together or separate. Although the weather didn't cooperate completely the house and property were perfect for us and we all had a great time. Many memories were made."

"All was good except the king bed. The mattress was worn out and had huge humps in it. Ended up using the day bed and not the king as it was so bad you could end up in the floor. "

"The house felt very welcoming. With yhe sounds of the waves lapping the shore and the herons to watch it was relaxing and refreshing. We look for places to escape and this provided a wonderful site to do that. We even saw a bald eagle fly by the house. fron"

"Upon arrival late on the evening, first impressions walking up were great. Well furnished, clean, charming. Went to turn on the bathroom sink and the waterfall faucet was spraying through the mineral buildup at the end of the faucet. Shower was the same way. Then the next day, noticed a hair tie on the kitchen sink and found out why it - the spray selector was broken. I don't want to touch somebody else's hair tie to do the dishes. It also absorbs water and gunk, which isn't very sanitary. Was...

"My friend and I met in Livingston for our 50th High School Reunion. We wanted something quiet and accessible to town. This house is not only the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in, but it was also superbly stocked with so many extras that a person may need away from home, we were pleasantly surprised. It is nicely furnished. Such a cute house!! I would give this house a 10 out of 10. Management definitely is in it for excellent customer service. We would book again! "

"Description as described. Cabin was cute and comfortable. It rained during our stay, so not much fishing was done and the lake was bit low- no fault of the owners. However, the property was muddy from getting to and from cabin to vehicle. The owners very responsive and friendly."

"Everything we needed in cabin and everything worked. Very nice stay and well cared for. Hosts were excellent. Will stay again."

"The condo was beautiful! We absolutely loved the view. The kids had so much fun on the beach area and in the swimming pool. The owner was very responsive to messages. We loved pur stay with you!"

"We had family come in from out of state for Christmas. We had the pleasure to stay here for Thanksgiving as well. Beautiful house with plenty of room for all seven of us! We LOVE this place!"

"Bernadette and Rich were gracious hosts and provided anything we thought we might need. They helped us when my car hit a deer They took me to get the loaner so we could go home. I enjoyed my conversations with Bernadette almost in a daily basis as she is always doing something. Since we are moving to Texas i just found our first friends. helpful."

"Great place to stay for some quiet time with your family. The only thing missing, was fans on the front deck and or blinds from the sun."

"I can’t even begin to tell you how terrible this place was. It was very dirty and smelled like sewer. The beds are all very old and uncomfortable. The linens on the bed were other stained or dirty. Floors are very unlevel. 1 shower doesn’t work, and that’s good cause there were live roaches in it! We did complain first to host, then VRBO. We’re told the host was unwilling to do anything about any of the problems, then she cancelled our contract (we had prepaid for 23 days), threatened to have...

"Nestled in the woods near lake Livingston ,Tx just a few miles from Coldspring , Tx is a true gem . The Bungaloo has a lot of character with modern amenities . Deer , squirrels , hummingbirds , and numerous lizards are available to entertain. The large windows allow you to enjoy the woods and creek , and cattle can be seen grazing in the pasture across the way . "Was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. There are steep stairs so if you have really young children or bad knees it might not be the best option for you. My kids loved it and thought it was the coolest experience. The castle itself does have a bathroom with shower, a full size refrigerator, and a full size stove/oven which was not on the listing.
