"We had a very relaxing girls weekend at this home. The views are exceptional and there are many areas where you can spend time outside looking at the lake - a screened porch, open porch with rockers, lower deck, firepit and gazebo. The host was very responsive and the check in was super easy. If you're looking to relax and spend a quiet weekend on the lake, this is a wonderful option."

"Property is in a nice quite location. For it to have been a summer weekend with nice weather the boat/ lake traffic was lite . The property listing isn’t intentionally misleading but there things you don’t see in the description and pictures. It is a lake house and has an old lake house feel. "Our three generation family group very much enjoyed our stay. The setting of the house is even better than advertised, as it sits within its own small cove where the water is much calmer than the main channel. Everyone enjoyed swimming off the dock without any concern about passing boats. The house itself was clean and roomy. On the first day of our stay, we had a few reasons to contact the owners, who provided quick responses. We are happy to recommend this home to others."

"The property was very clean and was well kept. The location was excellent. We had family in for a wedding and there was plenty of room for us to spread out and enjoy the long weekend together. We also enjoyed the fire pit and appreciate there already being wood on site."

"We had a wonderful time at this beautiful log cabin! Peaceful surroundings inside & out. The cabin is stocked full of everything you need to enjoy your stay. "We enjoyed the house and the location on the lake. The screened in porch was great for having a coffee in the morning and we did a lot of cooking, the kitchen had all we needed for our party of 4. Excellent hospitality from the hosts with a personal note and snacks for us to enjoy, that was a nice touch. "We rent a place on Lake Murray every 4th of July. I have to say this is the worse experience we’ve ever had. The kitchen is infested with ants. Ants were all over the counter and got in all our chips and boxes of cereal. There were also ants in the twin size bed downstairs, both showers, and the bathroom vanities. The refrigerator did not work. When we woke up the first morning all our food was warm. We had to get coolers and ice to keep our food cold. The ice maker doesn’t work either. We left...

"My family and I had a wonderful 5 days at this property. There were plenty of comfortable bedrooms to accommodate our whole group with room to spare. Very pleased with the amount of bath towels and beach towels provided along with the many toys for the lake. Our host was very accommodating and we all appreciated that.
