Ticky's Cottage at Empire Estate

Enjoy all the amenities, such as an inground pool (May-Sept., 8 a.m.-10 p.m.), 4 manicured acres to roam, volleyball/badminton court (8 a.m.-8 p.m.), fire pit/picnic area (8 a.m.-10 p.m.) next to a stream, horseshoes and more, all within 50 minutes of major Bourbon Country distilleries.
There are 2 units on the property and amenities and lodging are for booked guests only.
Visitors, children and pets are not allowed on the property at any time.
This is a genuine Bourbon Country getaway spot for comfort and serenity but plenty of fun just minutes away. The proprietor knows the area and all the 'can't miss' activities and sights. Enjoy!

I was here for a work trip and it was so much better than a hotel. Chris, the host, was accommodating and in constant communication about the status of the property. It's a big piece of land and the only thing bad I can say is it was rainy and I really couldn't enjoy the property to it's fullest, but I plan on going back for a leisure trip and I'd definitely stay there again.

Great getaway
We used this VRBO as a bit of a mini moon to celebrate our wedding from the weekend before and wow did we stumble across a gem! I wanted to plan a little getaway that wasn’t too far (we’re from Indiana) and had a pool. The cottage ticked all the boxes and ones we didn’t even know we had. The property was beautiful to walk around and the activities were so fun. Playing badmitton, swimming, waking the acres, grilling by the fire pit was a blast! And the location is perfect, Lebanon has a delightful small town vibe but still everything you could need. A Walmart and pharmacies within 5 min i case you forgot things, local eateries, wineries, bourbon, and a local bar with karaoke on Friday nights. The downtown is only a .5 mile walk from the cottage and has a farmers market that we used to get steaks and potatoes to grill on Saturday night. On top of all that the hosts are amazing. They were so friendly and helpful, but stayed out of your hair and let you enjoy your stay. He even lit the fire pit for us at night when we headed down. If you need any local suggestions or just want to chat they are full of friendly advice and stories. Chris has crafted and continues to improve on a wonderful property and its safe to say my wife and i will want to visit again.

Awesome week in Kentucky
Great week we stayed all week. Hime was very nice clean and comfy. Pool was amazing. Nice bbq area and the little town was very nice. If i am ever in the area again I would definitely stay here again.

A Hidden Gem
Ticky's Cottage is one of the best homes that I have ever stayed at through VRBO. The host, Big C thought of every little thing that a guest may need. He is personable and will be there in a flash if you need anything. The kitchen is well stocked, the bathroom was spotless with many towels, soap, hairdryer, cups, etc. The living room has a wonderful couch and big screen tv. We did not use the tv but it is listed as a smart tv and I assume it too is in good working condition. There is also another large recliner that rocks. You may want to ask Big C how to operate this chair to stabalize the chair so it doesn't rock. The bedrooms were also comfortable and had a large dresser, lights and ample hangers and pillows. There were several charing outlets for computer and phones. The WiFi worked very well and had ample connections throughout the house. You won't be disappointed with this lovely 'home away from home' in a rural part of KY. Don't pass it up, you will regret it if you do!

Nice Cottage Visit
An ideal place to stay for Bourbon Distillery visits. The grounds are nice and the pool is wonderful! The owner is most gracious. We will definitely stay there for future visits.

Country Oasis
The property is beautiful and although the weather wasn’t ideal for our week stay, we enjoyed it very much. The quietness of a retreat and the creek with the wildlife airings was great. Easy location to many area attractions from farmer market to shopping. We highly recommend staying here!

I came down for Las Vegas, NV to visit my sister in Gravel Switch, KY and we stayed at the quant cottage in Lebanon! We all enjoyed the cottage, the pool, the spacious yard and the fire pit! The host was more than accommodating and I highly recommend anyone who’s looking for a great place to stay to book this cottage! Loved it!

Very relaxing place with an awesome pool... everything you need is there....sand volleyball was great. Nice that we got to take out Bernese Mountain dog with us.... although hot...she stayed in the cool air-conditioning. Chris is just the nicest guy. Highly recommend!

A Most Beautiful Place Developed by A Most Kind and Determined Man
My husband and I were incredibly pleased with our stay. The property is absolutely beautiful and speaking with the owner and learning everything he has put into the property made it that much more beautiful. The cottage was fully stocked with everything you need, you just need to bring food to stock the fridge. We look forward to our next stay and excited to see the owner and what more he has added to his amazing property.

Perfect location. Perfect house
We absolutely loved our stay. Family came to visit us and there was plenty of room. Location was close to shopping, sight seeing and distillery’s. Would definitely check availability of this location on my next trip to Kentucky.
