"Beautiful property, very clean and well stocked"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Rose Cottage!! The property is incredible with tons of windows to see the lake view. No matter where you are in the house, you always have a lakeview. The property is set up like a hotel with everything you need minus daily housekeeping. Full kitchen equipment, towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Having a hot tub was such a nice feature to relax at night and enjoy the lake. Dog friendly which is an amazing plus. Will definitely be booking a stay again next...

"We had a wonderful 2 night stay! The cottage is tiny but has everything you need although it can be very warm. The view is stunning and the beat location! You will need water shoes as its very rocky and the sand can get very hot. The only thing missing in the listing is that you have to share fire pit, living quarters outdoors, outdoor shower and bbq with the other cottage beside you which neither cottage was aware of however we were fortunate to have amazing neighbors. "The property was very clean and comfortable with a fantastic view. Lots of windows with a few that can be a little stiff when trying to close or open the metal exterior blinds but manageable. On our first day it was cool and windy on the lake with huge waves crashing against the rocks out front and splashing against the large bay windows, we were looking forward to the hot tub. Had unexpected guests arrive for a few drinks and late night hot tub but unfortunately tub water level wasn't checked...

"A delightful little cottage on the shore of Lake Erie, just a mile or two from Point Pelee's entrance. Super clean and comfortable. Excellent mattresses and bedding! Surprisingly big backyard equipped with a fire pit and plenty of comfortable lawn chairs for viewing the stars or the waves crashing on the beach. Responsive host wants to make sure you have a great stay. Highly recommended! "

"The place was lovely. Great communication, everything was well organized, stocked full of everything you could need, and very clean. Kevin was helpful throughout, and contacted us after he thought we had forgotten something after checkout. The park pass was a very nice added bonus. We’d definitely stay here again. "

"The house was nice, clean and pretty close to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay."

"This was an amazing place - Amazing location and amazing view. The area is quiet! Look out for the lovely sunsets and the amazing views of the greenhouse glows from afar!"

"We booked on short notice so we could participate in the Rice Moon freighter canoe tour that night at Point Pelee. Communication with the owner went smoothly and the place was sweet: simple and nice furnishings, clean and very spacious. It needed a bit of an air out when we got there but all else was very good. :)"

"We enjoyed a wonderful 3 days. Accommodation was beautifully appointed and equipped with everything you could imagine, There was a spectacular view of the bay especially at sunset. Gabriella was very accommodating and very accessible. We would not hesitate to stay there again and strongly recommend Sunset by the Bay or The Bunker by the Bay."

"This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here. The location is quiet and picturesque. The beds are very comfortable. It is conveniently located if you’re visiting Point Pelee national park and also close to all necessary shopping in Leamington. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here."

"Arriving at night could make it difficult to find. Little to no lighting. Be prepared for steep stairs, if you have luggage, you will want to lock the screen door open before hauling your luggage up the staircase. The door opens toward you and there is little space to stand while opening the door and it could be easy to lose your step. More steep steps when entering the entry way. The overall space is wonderful. Clean and the washer and dryer was a bonus. You will need to bring your own...

"The location was amazing! A small sandy beach right behind the cottage made it easy to access the lake. We stayed there in late August and the water was warm. Use of the kayaks and paddle boards was a bonus. The cottage itself was compact but very comfortable and nicely furnished. Lots of comfortable seating on the deck including shaded areas made it easy to enjoy the outdoors and great sunset views. Highly recommend!"
