Welcome to Summit Lodge! This updated 3+ bedroom/2 bath home is located in the historic mining town of Lead, overlooking the Kirk Canyon area. Elegantly furnished with contemporary mountain décor, the house features over 2,200 of square feet, on three levels, three+ bedrooms include: 1 king size bed, 2 queen beds, and 2 twin beds. In addition, there is a comfortable sectional couch in the living room and a cushy leather sofa in the family room. Air mattresses are available upon request. The house can sleep 8-9 people.
The house offers a chef's style stainless steel kitchen made for family dinners and entertaining which includes a large dining room table and a breakfast bar island.
The main level of the house features: open floor plan with a wall of windows and easy access to the large deck from the kitchen and living room, recessed kitchen lights, new hickory kitchen cabinets, counter tops, stainless steel appliances, refrigerator with ice and water dispenser, a dishwasher, hardwood floors, kitchen table and island. The main level bedroom has a queen size bed and a walk-out slider patio door with access to the backyard.
The upper level of this mountain retreat features the Master Suite with vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows with a view of the mountains, a private bedroom with a King size bed and a walk-thru room with two twin beds, walk-in closet, an oversized Master bath with two separate sinks, a jet tub, and a custom tiled walk-in shower.
The lower level features the family room and the third bedroom with a queen size bed, and a walk-out slider patio door. The family room offers a pool table, electronic golf and dart board game.
The house is equipped with dishes, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, waffle maker, crock pot, and microwave, sheets, pillows, comforters, blankets and towels.
There is space to park 3-4 vehicles on the property; no trailer parking on the street. Convenient location to the northern hills' attractions, just minutes to Deadwood (3 mi), Terry Peak (3.5 mi) and Mystic Miner Ski (4.5 miles) areas, Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway (8 mi), and the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally (17 mi), walking distance to the Neutrino Lab, and less than a mile to the open cut Homestake Gold Mine, the historic Opera House and the Mickelson Trailhead, easy access to central and southern hills via Highways 385 and 85.
