"My husband and I stayed at the cabin for a three-day weekend trip for our anniversary and it was simply perfect! We LOVED the gorgeous view off the deck and the hot tub. "We had a great time. I have copd so the dirt road was not good for me, and the people an dirt bikes and four wheelers like to fly on this rd throwing dust. The cabin was so nice. I cant say i would like to come back, but i probably would if my husband wants to come back. Neighbors were so nice. The cabin would have been better if it was on a paved rd. I loved it, we had a very good time"

"Perfect views and space for two celebrating our 30th anniversary. The bed was surprisingly comfy and the crossbreezes through the small windows in the loft were lovely. We enjoyed our morning coffee and breakfast at the outdoor picnic table watching the birds and bunnies and planning hikes for the day. We had everything we needed. Book it!!"

"We had such an awesome week! It was everything we hoped it would be! The cabin is a good 8-10 minute drive from the road (the first gate) to the 2nd gate so take that time into consideration when venturing out because GPS doesn't factor it in. Our kids had a ball catching (and releasing) trout, creek walking, and just being lazy in the cabin. We also saw a family of wild turkey on the drive down from the house. Highly recommend and hope to enjoy this cabin again some time."

"You can definitely feel the love that went into this space. Lisa and Stephen built an amazing treehouse, and the whole property is very special. It's very unique and well crafted, with a lovely view of the mountains through the trees. It's rustic yet also very comfortable and cozy. The clawfoot tub and fire stove make it especially relaxing."

"Beautiful location and off the beaten path. Take whatever you want to eat for the stay, cabin has well stocked kitchen. Fishing was so so for the first few days, then it was stocked the last day which improved the fishing. We were catch and released so there should be some for the next guy. Would go back"

"😃 The cabin has comfortable bedrooms, a large living room with a fireplace, great for colder days! the kitchen has new utensils and appliances. outside there's a nice fire pit, great for hot chocolate and marshmallows! Excellent location and incredible river view. we love to stay in the cabin for 4 days, we'll definitely be back! Suggestion: a hot tub would make the cabin perfect! 😕deep cleaning in the bathrooms, watch out for spider web."

"If you love peace and quiet, this cabin will be your happy spot. It's out of the way with its private slice of babbling creek, lush ferns, mosses, rocks, and birds. Very well appointed, clean as a whistle, and all wrapped in a wonderful porch. We ate lunch along the way at quaint 'Almost on the Lake' and did a simple pasta dinner and oatmeal breakfast for our one-day stay. If you have a novel or jigsaw puzzle you want to finish, there couldn't be a better spot. I can see bringing my grands back...

"We've stayed at this property 3 times now and it gets better every time. The new updates were amazing and made an extremely hot week more bearable to be outside. The views are spectacular and it doesn't feel like there is anyone else around you. I would recommend to anyone, just remember to bring bug spray, it is the mountains after all."

"This cabin was accurately described in the main description but also in the reviews that I had read before booking…..we were less than 10miles from Boone (an easy route to/from town) there is a Dollar General about 3 miles from the cabin. Fully stocked, all utensils, pots, pans that you need in the kitchen. Plenty of towels, extra throw blankets, detergent, etc. Great covered porches with lots of shade and ceiling fans. "Cute cozy cabin with everything you need. Make sure you have everything food wise when you arrive, closest store is 40 minutes away. Many spots to swim and fish down the road to walk or couple minutes drive. Me and my kids enjoyed it, nobody wanted to leave. You can tube up and down the creek. Cough some trout and grilled it, was the best. If you plan any trips to Grandfather mountain or zip lining, make it a day trip. I did my gps in before I left the house, so directions worked the whole way...

"Wonderful place!! Very clean! Loft area has a short ceiling - perfect for kids, but didn’t bother the adults.. There was a keurig but no coffee, only hot cocoa, Coffee would be a nice addition. There was a store, a very short walk down the road, which was convenient to grab things that we forgot. Owner was extremely responsive"
