Beautifully restored home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a contributing structure in the Original Townsite of Las Cruces. This 3 BR / 2.5BA historic style home is located in the up and coming downtown area. Lovingly restored, this home combines traditional with contemporary style: an open floor plan with restored hardwood maple floors in the living/dining area and master bedroom, wood cabinetry in the kitchen, stainless steel appliances, granite counter-tops, gas range, breakfast bar and big pantry. All appliances convey. New carpet in bedrooms, both master and Jack and Jill baths with two sinks, storage shed, patio with water feature, wrought iron fencing, and owner's artistic touch throughout. This was a full restoration, so this is a brand new, old house!

Historic and charming
This property is an authentic 19th century adobe. It has been meticulously restored, and is comfortable with all modern amenities. Inside the rental, there is a binder with the history and progression of the restoration—what a read!The only drawback is that the rental is downtown in a seedier area. We never felt unsafe, however, and it is within walking distance to the Saturday farmers market. I will definitely stay here again…!

close to all the places I wanted to visit. all toiletries were supplied. Linens and towels were abundant and wonderful. couldn't find local news channels but it was ok since we were out a lot

This house is very clean, comfortable and colorful. We enjoyed the peaceful backyard with the serene effects of the water feature. The house is well equipped from the kitchen gadgets and appliances to the plentiful linens and everything in between. It’s also conveniently located to many restaurants, shops and attractions. We especially enjoyed the day we spent hiking out to Dripping Springs.

Wonderful Hatch Chile Weekend
While enjoying the Chile Festival in Hatch over Labor Day weekend we enjoyed staying close to Downtown Las Cruses. The walk-ability of the location makes it ideal for enjoying breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner in the Downtown area. It is also a very quick and easy drive to the surrounding neighborhoods for other dining and shopping trips.

We were in town for a swim competition at NMSU. The home is absolutely WONDERFUL. Spacious, centrally located, and great information about the area! We were very busy while we were here so didn’t really need to communicate at all, but everything was provided, booking was easy, and there were plenty of ways to contact the owner. The highlights for us were the grill, shower in the master (stunning!), binder on the restoration of the home, and the artwork from a prior guest on the wall. Highly recommend!!

My family stayed on this property, and it was a complete disappointment. First and foremost, and arguably the worst, the house was infested with cockroaches both inside and outside. A bottle of insect spray was provided so that we could kill them when we encountered them. Second, the supplies given in the kitchen were expired, and each bathroom only had one roll of toilet paper. We contacted the homeowner, who never reacted to the issues, so we had to go out and buy stuff. The house features antique furnishings, yet with no proof, the owner charged my credit card an additional $100.00. Horrible hospitality and communication, and neither we nor our friends or colleagues will ever stay at this, or any other resort owned by these individuals again.

Perfect stay
we were 3 friends. this place offered us complete privacy from each other and also spaces to be together. it was just right for us. it's very clean with all amenities we needed. the decor is lovely, bedding/towels were plentiful and comfortable. we liked the outdoor space - whimsical and private. parking is off the street in a quiet neighborhood. many thoughtful touches. the renovation is beautifully done.

Comfortable and spacious
My partner, friend, and I stayed for three nights in February. Off-street parking, easy entry, lots of space inside for us to relax and spread out. Full kitchen and laundry were great to have. My first time in Las Cruces. We didn’t have a chance to explore the neighborhood but looked like there were some interesting stores and cafes nearby.

Charming Beautiful Home...LOOK NO FURTHER
This home is exactly as pictured. It's beautifully decorated and the kitchen is fully stocked for all of your cooking needs. Every room of the house was extremely clean....even the outdoor patio! The location is close to several restaurants. It's about one hour from White Sands National Park, a must see. Also, about 45 minutes from El Paso for a nice day trip. About a half hour to Dripping Springs with awesome hiking trails! I highly recommend this wonderful home, look no further, it's large enough for a family or for three couples with plenty of sitting room inside and outside on the patio. Maria was very easy to work with and very helpful. Clean up at check-out was a breeze! Thank you for a beautiful stay and sharing your charming home.
