Escape to the beauty of nature at this newly renovated vacation home!

This pet friendly property sleeps 8 people with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.
The large kitchen and eating area open up to the large gathering room with corner stone gas fireplace, making it perfect for family or groups of friends. Guests can unwind and relax in the hot tub or enjoy a meal on the wraparound partially covered deck while taking in the natural wooded splendor. The gas grill and firepit add to the outdoor experience and provide a great place to gather and make memories. This home has been completely renovated inside and out in 2023! All beds and furniture are new as well. Our property is ideally located within 20 miles of beautiful Hocking Hills! So bring your hiking boots and fur buddy. You won't be disappointed!

Relaxing Getaway
Property is amazing! It is clean, close enough to hiking/shopping and far enough away for peace and quiet. I would definitely recommend this property.

Hocking Hills Getaway
My college friends and I had a reunion near Hocking Hills for this trip! We loved the house, everything was very clean. It was not far from Hocking Hills, but was also very convenient to go to Lancaster for dinner and groceries. The hot tub took a little while to get to temperature, but still felt very good after a long day of hiking! Would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful Experience!
I would recommend this property to anyone, and especially those with dogs! Property is clean, welcoming, and exactly as advertised. Accommodations are top notch, and the host was easy to work with. If I make my way down to Hocking Hills again I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Family Vacation
The house was beautiful and comfortable. Great size for our family of 7. We loved the seclusion and of course, the hot tub. It was a little further from Hocking Hills State Park than we realized but still very convenient. The house only has 1 tv in the living room and there’s no dvd player. Most of the cable channels were not accessible. It is also not set up for kids. There were no games or outdoor activities to engage them in. There were a couple puzzles in a closet and a card game in a drawer. It would have been nice to have another tv in a bedroom that you could watch movies on to give them some separation and space. The bathrooms were large and there were plenty of towels. We did use the washer once and the house had all the things needed for cooking/cleaning up.

Great Stay
The property is nice and secluded, but still close to area natural attractions. The hottub was wonderful. The cabin is clean and comfortable, is exactly what pictures show, host thought of everything!!

This house is perfect. Nice quiet location. The house was the cleanest we have ever stayed in. The pictures and details listed are 100% accurate. Everything you may need in the kitchen is supplied.

Great stay!
Our stay was wonderful. The property was beautiful. They had nice touches like dog bowls and a jar of dog treats that our dog loved. The hot tub was relaxing after a day of hiking Hocking Hills. We even saw deer in the morning while relaxing outside. We would love to stay here again.

Nice getaway!
Me and 4 friends stayed here and went hiking at Hocking hills and canoeing on the Hocking river. The place was exactly as described and the hot tub was great!

Great for girls trip!
This was a beautiful property near Hocking Hills. It was close to a nearby town but far enough away for privacy and quiet. The house was very clean and well organized. The loft with the four beds was a little warm but the fans provided did help. The only item we would recommend is emergency supplies since we did lose power during our trip. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and will come back!

Very Happy!!
There were six of us that came to stay at the Jacob’s Ladder House. We could not have been more pleased. The house is beautiful, spacious and well stocked with extras. (Coffee, spices, soap, shampoo, conditioner.). The one thing that could use some improvement is the driveway. All in all we were extremely happy with the house and are very likely to return. Thank you.

Beautiful Property and Location
My stay at this lovely home in Lancaster was amazing! It’s only a 30 minute drive from Hocking Hills, but there is also so much to do around the property wether it be relaxing in the hot tub that overlooks the backyard, or hanging out around the campfire. There’s even a grill to cook the perfect camping dinner! Everything was clean, and well stocked with essentials you may need during your stay. I would definitely consider rebooking in the future!

Quiet, peaceful, and close to Hocking Hills
We really enjoyed our stay! Plenty of space, very clean, quiet, and private. Excellent WiFi and cell service. The property was very easy to find and was not far from grocery shopping and most Hocking Hills activities. All necessary items for cooking, cleaning, and showering were provided. Hocking Hills Vacation
This rental was beautiful and just what we needed for the 7 of us! The owners supplied everything we needed. We have stayed at some places where we've had to bring our own linens etc and that was not the case here. We hiked during the day and enjoyed the hot tub each evening. Our only complaint, has nothing to do with the property or the accommodations, however more about the distance from the hiking attractions. .

The place was just super. Loved being on a dead end road! Description and photos matched what we found upon ck in. Host was fantastic and very responsive. I would stay here again, and recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Great Family home with great amenities
This house was very clean and neat; presented well. Loved the outdoor deck area which was very spacious. Would have been nice to have a dining table and chairs outside on the deck, but there was a nice picnic table on the side of the house. The large kitchen table sat 6 comfortably. Each of the 2 bathrooms had plenty of towels and storage space. We also appreciated the several hooks on the walls for hanging towels. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. The third bedroom/loft area did not have a door, but the stairs went up, turned and up some more, making it seem private. I noticed in previous reviews that there were no blinds in the front windows or dressers in the bedrooms. During my stay there were blinds on all windows, and there were very nice folding luggage holders in each of the two first floor bedrooms to put your suitcases on. Those were really appreciated. There was also a full size dresser in each of the first floor bedrooms. It would be nice to have a luggage rack or dresser in the loft bedroom as well. As a dog owner, I appreciated the dog towels, the dog biscuits, the dog bowls, and the dog blankets for the furniture. My dog enjoyed her stay at the house as well. My 8 year old daughter LOVED the jar of Hersheys kisses! It was about 35-40 minutes to hiking in Hocking Hills, but did not feel too far at all. I would recommend you bring extra blankets, as there were no extra blankets there. My family enjoyed the stay, and we will definitely be back!!

Loved it!
We all thoroughly loved our stay! The only suggestion we would make is getting a smart tv rather than having direct tv. I would have liked to be able to sign into my streaming apps and watch on the tv at night. Everything was super clean and worked properly. The property is beautiful and full of cute lil wildlife from the first moment we got there. Baby deer and baby squirrels were regularly darting in and out of the woods. Would definitely come back!
