"We had a perfect stay here. We were greeted with a welcome basket with snacks. There was also milk, eggs, butter and bread. Everything we needed was there. It was comfortable and the location was very scenic. The hot tub was incredible. Would definitely stay there again! "

"Stayed a couple of nights for our anniversary and had the most amazing time! This cottage is exceptional.. perfectly situated near beach, shops pubs etc, plenty parking options on a nice quiet street. Inside is really well decorated and has everything you could want or need in a home away from home. Comfy bed, cosy sofa and a hot shower. Would highly recommend the cottage and will definitely return. "

"The owner kept in touch giving accurate and detailed instructions on entering and had even put the heating on for us so that it was warm for my epderly mother. In brief. "A very basic standard of accommodation, the beds weren’t very comfortable, the TV was tiny and only Freeview channels available. The outside area was like a junk yard and parking was tricky in terms of getting back out on to the road. No communication prior to our stay so we had no idea of the check in process. Ok for a 2 night stay but won’t be returning."

"The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. It would be nice to have a few basic essentials such as salt and pepper and hand soap upon arrival to get things...

"Fantastic setting so peaceful with beautiful views. Very cosy well equipped cottage. A perfect base for exploring the beautiful countryside. Only downside was that the next door cottage was also a holiday home so privacy while in the amazing big conservatory with fantastic views of the countryside was limited. Blinds on that side would have earned an extra star."

"Wonderfully restored cottage with a lovely farmhouse kitchen complete with AGA and a large sitting room with a log stove (and lots of wood!), surrounded by old fashioned gardens. We found the owner very welcoming and helpful. What more could we ask for a relaxing and comfortable stay!"

"We had a lovely stay in this very well equipped and comfortable cottage. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Situated in a quiet area within walking distance of Budle Bay, it was easy to get to many places on the coast and we enjoyed a lot of long walks admiring the beaches and scenery, visiting Lindisfarne and even taking a train from Berwick to Edinburgh for the day! We would definitely recommend staying here if you like the quiet countryside in a comfortable self...
