Lovely and clean, and in a great location close to all the village amenities and several historic properties, as well as to some wonderful walks. A particular feature is the open plan lounge which has skylights that make it feel very light even on dull days - and the badger feeding was great fun! The only slight snag was the parking as it is a real squeeze to get two cars into the garage. The large layby on the main road was a good...

"Everything we could want and need for a great holiday in the Lake District. The cottage was comfortable, clean, with comfortable beds and bedding, warm and quiet. It had everything we needed to cook when we didn't eat out in one of the many pubs and restaurants that can be found. Great location for walking in the Lake District. Can walk from the cottage. No walking maps or books in the cottage but the property company offered us these if we needed them and they were located a very short distance...
