"Great place nice a clean. The desk service staff are kind and helpful. The only drawback and this is more about the area is that it shuts down very early at night and also opens late in the morning. So dining options if youn arrive after 8pm are limited to the outskirts of town. Rooms are roomy and very clean. "

"We spent a night at this motel in September 2025 and were very impressed. It's a 2 star hotel but it has absolutely anything you might need. Their attention to detail and anticipating conveniences is something I haven't experienced at any other hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. There are three separate sitting areas outside as well as a couple of (clean) seats just outside the door of each room. The sitting areas in the front have comfortable lawn furniture with pillows...

"I live in Yellowknife and my parents are visiting me from India. We left from YK for our drive to Vancouver and on the way stopping by all the touristy spots. Your hotel was the only one I could find with 3 separate beds withthe awesome price which included breakfast too. No complaints. We had a good meal from the on-site restaurant grill too on one of the nights. Amazing stay. "

"Gables is a good option for a short stay. The rooms are clean though a little compact in size. There is open space outside the rooms to eat/drink or simply chill. The host Tom was very helpful and shared a lot of information regarding the activities around the area. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a short and budget friendly stay."
