"Beautiful, spacious townhome full furnished with appliances and utensils for making whatever you need. Safe bears and wild turkey walk around freely and safely. We saw them a lot. A very peaceful place."

"This has classic rustic charm with lots of big rooms and bedrooms for the family. During one of the hottest weeks in the summer, this house is always shaded by lots of trees. So we were able to sit on the porches to get fresh air. From the porch on the weekend, we could hear live music in the afternoon from the Grill down the street, which we enjoyed. We liked being able to walk to places to eat, the beach and a good location to walk for exercise. There are stairs to enter the house, their are...

"This place is now our favorite lake getaway. Small and very cozy with well-stocked kitchen with all you need to cook your meals. The owner is wonderful and very easy to contact. Highly recommended if you want to escape for some peace and quiet with such beautiful view. We will definitely be back! "

"The house was pretty much clean throughout. Except we did see a good bit of long dog hair on some of the furniture and in the bedrooms."

"Lake lure took a big hit to the storm. But this cabin had all we needed to keep us occupied during our stay. Restaurants and some shops are open. Loved how everyone is so open to helping each other. "This vacation home is perfect for a couple or a couple with a teen that wants their own space. The location was excellent. A few miles from downtown Chimney Rock, right on a Lake Lure quiet cove, and a 1 minute drive from a nice lakeside restaurant. We very much enjoyed waking up early in the morning, making a cup of coffee, and sitting on the balcony off the bedroom to watch the mist rise off the lake as the morning fisherman slowly moved past. We never saw anyone actually catch a fish...

"We had wonderful time spending our Thanksgiving holydays in this property. We would really like to thank our host Mrs. Liz for convincing us to come when we were having second thoughts as we thought that the area and property were damaged by the hurricane Helen. The house is very convenient at all 3 levels and views are amazing. We would highly recommend this property for families (including 4 legged members 😊) who would like to enjoy the beautiful nature NC has to offer."
