"We went there for 2 nights recently and it’s a very relaxing and a beautiful place about 20 mins from Nannup. Lots of farm animals who are very keen to be fed with carrots! The spa bath was very relaxing and the cabin was fully equipped and nice and clean . The host Jo was very nice and friendly too. Just be aware only Telstra reception is available. No other network will work and there is no WifI"

"This is an excellent forrest retreat holiday for a couple. Lots of great bush walk trails next to cottages. Scenery from cottage balcony across lake to Forrest amazing. Also the on-site restaurant dining was superb as are their “Silkwood Estate” wines. Was a real treat and a memorable stay."

"Beautiful old timber mill house with clean modern conveniences. Manicured gardens, secure parking tucked away in a back lane. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do. We organised facials/massages at the local salon, took the tram ride to the cascades and did the river cruise. Dinner at the pub. Friendly locals! It was a little awkward and off putting that the cleaners arrived at 9:55am (as we were packing the car) but they were friendly and patient. Thankyou for a cosy stay."

"The cabin was nice over all; clean, new, with most essentials supplied. There were a few issues that we were not aware of until we arrived and we were advertised otherwise. "loved our stay. first time farm stay (other than one i've worked on haha). loved the safari style accommodation and luxury type touches. enjoyed the fact that its also a working truffle farm, so did not mind at all that there was a buzz of activity in the distance. really added to the atmosphere. Mick was also an excellent host meeting us at the gate and showing us to our accommodation and helping out with any needs we required. a Lovely man. will definitely visit again :)"

"Prior to the booking I’ve asked if it would be possible to have a room without anyone upstairs and we were pleased to have the last room on the lake for more privacy.
