"Wonderful place to stay in the area. We are very familiar with the area, as we lived 20 minutes away for over 25 years. If you are looking for an upscale hotel experience, try Stoweflake Resort. If you want a more rustic stay, this is the place. "This was our second visit to the lakehouse, and it's become a very special place for our family. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, with fishing, swimming, and boating right from the property. The house is thoughtfully appointed and very comfortable. Even with a few days of rain, we enjoyed the screened-in porch and the beautiful views. We're already looking forward to our visit next year!"

"The cabin itself was lovely the views breathtaking just a couple of hiccups really. We had a 4 Hour drive to get to the cottage which we got to a few minutes early before check-in before four. So we left and came back at four housekeeping was still there. My husband asked how long they would be. They said about a half an hour, so we sat in our car for half an hour. Once again, the cottage is lovely but the screened in porch area. The screens many of them are completely loose blowing in the wind....

"The property is pristine and beautiful. Everything we needed was present including directions. It was walking distance to town. We hiked a lot and of course Stowe has many places to do that. We all agreed that it was the nicest place we've rented through VRBO. My communication with the owners was excellent and prompt. When we go back, this will be the 1st property we'll look for. "The apartment was clean and cozy and had all the amenities you could want in a vrbo stay. I loved that it was dog friendly and so close to Stowe - so easy to get there by car or by the bus that stops almost right in front of the lot you park in. My one negative comment is not the VRBO’s fault but I feel it’s necessary to note and remind people searching that the location above the bar does matter. "Great comfy cottage! Super clean bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. Couch you can sink into and put your feet up with a delicious VT IPA after a long day exploring. Five minutes to Waterbury Center and 12 minutes to the Alchemist Brewery in Stowe. Our dogs were not only tolerated but welcomed which is always appreciated. The cabin has a small u store it location behind it which was well lit and just right for last walks of the night. It felt extremely safe. Can’t wait to return!"

"A lamp between the sofa and the love seat would have been appreciated. My laptop would not connect to the modem in the unit, so I did not have internet while I was there. We did connect with your tech team and the were great in trying to figure out how to fix the problem, but nothing worked to do so. Thankfully, my husband was able to connect right away."

The house size worked well for our party of 4 and a dog. "as meninas da recepção foram excelentes , no entanto pelas fotos da Hotels.com teriamos reservado um cottage o que nao nos foi oferecido no check in . Tivemos a oportunidade de ver o cottage o que nos pareceu bem diferente das fotos e mais velho e mal decorado, nao fazendo jus ao que foi visto no site.FICAMOS NUMA SUITE NOVA e muito bem decorada mas que no entanto nao nos atendeu no quesito espaço , principalmente numa viagem de ski...o cafe da manha continental era muito diversificado e com boas opçoes organicas e vegetarianas. Cafe complimentary e chas servidos no lobby todas as tardes.O que foi mais apreciado por nos foi a atenção e cordialidade das recepcionistas em especial a Coral ...sempre apta e disposta a ajudar."
