"It is a beautiful location on a stunning private lake. The lake was larger than I pictured and was like glass for paddle boarding. The kids had fun swimming and catching little fish. The house had comfortable beds and was clean and had all the amenities. Was enjoyable and would come again for sure! Just minutes away from Lake Cowichan town. Highly recommend!"

"Lovely property. Really liked all the different outdoor seating spots and the lake was nice to swim in. Screens for all the windows were broken so we had a crazy amount of bugs the first night. Other than that, great stay"

"My partner and I visited with some friends for a nice weekend get away. The house and grounds are very nice, and even though it was quite snowy we were warm and comfortable in the house with the fireplace going.The view of the river and the gazebo are great, but it was a little too cold for that so we enjoyed the sauna instead.Billy is a great host, made sure to stock us up with firewood for the weekend, and was overall great to deal with.Everyone agreed we would go back again when it's warm...

"This is a beautiful house on a lovely waterfront property in a quiet neighbourhood. The beds are comfortable. With some improvements, it could be a five-star rating. However, on our visit there were discrepancies in the amenities listed from what was actually at the house, and the photos should be updated to depict the home as it actually is presently.
